Can two different people be the same? The answer is yes. The characters Dylan Klebold from the book Columbine, and Dick Hickcock are more alike than you know. The two men share a bit of similarities. “You know, men and women are a lot alike in certain situations. Like when they're both on fire - they're exactly alike” (Dave Attell). They both wanted domination, didn’t have many friends, and made many mistakes. “Dominance is only for GOD” (Syed Islam).Dylan and Dick, at times, felt as though they were like God in many ways. Before doing such, Dick had a problem of writing bad checks and stealing a bit here and there. It would cause him problems in the future. Dylan had also been a petty thief, getting himself into “system”. Eric had a website that in which he had expressed all of his hatred for everything and everyone; he had made the mistake of letting his dad and a few school acquaintances find out that he had been making and testing out his homemade pipe bombs. Dick had told another man, who had been his cellmate, named Floyd Wells of his plans to rob the Clutters. Dick had also left a bloody foot print at the scene of the crime. All mistakes that could’ve helped them in not getting caught. Dylan and Dick were both troubled in the end. They both receive a bit of infamy for their crimes committed. They are remembered well for what they’ve done. Even though they are two different characters from two different books, written by two different authors, they both have a hand full of things in common with one another. ).
