Driving age in Australia vary from state to state, in Victoria the driving age is 18. Teenagers now have their own vehicle and are able to get to work or school by themselves but as a result of allowing citizens, who are 18, to drive has caused many accidents, from speeding to reckless driving. The driving age should be raised to twenty-one as it not necessary and is the cause of many injuries and death.

They are not mature enough. The driving age should be raised to twenty-one because most people are reckless at the age of 18. Eight-teen seems to be the prime age for having fun and being reckless, allowing eight-teen year old’s to drive will cause the car accident rate to increase, resulting in an injury of an individual or even death.
