Donald Trump, the current President of the United States, is a villain at heart. Due to his lack of empathy, his greed for power, and because President Trump is immoral which are all characteristics of a villain. After the devastating hurricane hit Puerto Rico, Donald Trump tweeted about how Puerto Rico “owed billions of dollars” to “Wall Street banks” which “must be dealt with”(Donald Trump). Exemplifying Trump's lack of empathy, instead of offering his condolences or support, Trump sent out tweets about Puerto Rico’s lack of infrastructure and surplus of debt. Another characteristic of a villain is greed, and Trump is extremely open about it. The President was quoted at a rally in Iowa saying “I like Money. I’m very greedy. I have always
been greedy. I love Money”(The Hill). This demonstrates Trump’s greed, and shows his villainous characteristics. Trump’s third characteristic is immorality, his proposed budget plan contains massive cuts, and “would effect a massive transfer of wealth” to the richest Americans from the poorest(The New Republic). The proposed plan includes “cutting medicaid by $880 billion” and slashing the “food stamp program by $190 billion”(The New Republic). This plan reveals Trump's lack of empathy for others, and his immorality. In Conclusion Trump’s lack of empathy, greed, and immorality prove that he's a villain.
“The Great Gatsby”, is a popular book of impossible love, dreams, and tragedy. It takes place in the roaring twenties, following the life of members of the wealthy class; Jay Gatsby, Nick Carraway, Daisy Buchanan, and Tom Buchanan. The point of view is from a man, in search of achieving his dream to become an author. In this time era, wealth, social status and the society itself made everyone a subject to change, in villainous ways, but of all characters, i saw the most vile attributes in Tom Buchanan. Tom was caught in a web of lies, he cheated
The question about Brutus is not whether he is good or bad, it is whether he is a hero or a villain. Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar is about the tragic death of Julius Caesar. Brutus, the main conspirator against Caesar, is seen by the majority of the play’s readers as a tragic hero. I see him more as a villain. Villain or hero, it just depends on your perspective of the text. Another question could be asked about whether Brutus is an honorable man or a mistaken one. Analyzing Brutus’s logic, actions, and intentions can help the reader decide where they stand.

Throughout the play of Macbeth, by William Shakespeare, Macbeth is supposed to be a likeable character until he kills the king. By committing this heinous act, Macbeth instantly becomes a villain and continues to commit murderous acts, all stemming from his first terrible mistake. One of his motives consists of choosing power over integrity, therefore he kills the king. Another reason why Macbeth is a villain is because he continued to kill innocent people to hide his doings. Lastly, since Macbeth is a villain and murderer, he deserves to be condemned and disdained.
In Anton Ashcroft’s article, he criticizes Donald Trump and ponders over this question: Is Trump a narcissist and psychopath or a representative of the people? Ashcroft uses evidence from Trump’s “colorful display of vitriol, inconsistencies, racism, and grandiose rhetoric”, which has caused the media to seize upon the possibility of a mental disorder in the president. The thought and belief of a person being a psychopath, with the evidence provided in this article, is well enforced. Evidence has been provided of how Trump’s behavior falls into the PCL:SV criteria for being a psychopath and narcissist. He has been irresponsible, refused to own up to mistakes and apologize, needed the people’s approval, and threatened to abuse his power. All
"Is violating personal space lesson one in the Idiot's Guide to Villainy?" Wynonna swatted Bobo's hand away- the devil wasn't going to touch her anymore. "Let Dolls go." She didn't beg, but the tremble in her voice didn't make Wynonna feel like she was negotiating from a position of power.
I'm honestly not feelings any kind of way because I believe that Donald Trump could be a good president it's just his ideas that he have in mind are reckless. The people around us are being frightened because the things he say although they might not happen because he's not the one who makes the rules/ laws it's the congress who does people still feel threatened. I believe that people should love who they want to love same sex or not. They shouldn't have to worry about being separated from their mate.
Trump's business tactics are some of his best qualities and because if then he became multimillionaire. His brilliance in the financial world is key to help solve America's national debt problem. Many people believe he is all talk and will do nothing but he will help the United States get out of the financial whole their in. By 2020 the national debt will increase 10% and Donald says he can fix it in just two terms. However many doubt him with that aswell. Trump can and will try to bring the great United States out of some of the debt, he just needs the people’s support. His financial skills would be a great
A former real estate mogul, Donald J. Trump was born and raised in New York City, idolizing capitalism and the “American Dream” business style. Born into a family of prominence and wealth, Donald is a product of capitalism. His astounding net worth of 3.5 billion dollars exemplifies his success in business. Active in politics since eluding to a Presidential run in 1987, he took his political career to another level when he decided to run for President of the United States in 2016. Appealing to the white working class with little or no education, he secured votes through controversial means. Although many doubted a win and while he lost the
What is it with some people (like you) that must twist and distort what is said in order to confront people? Does it make you feel better about yourself to “think” you can or are able to outwit others? Exactly where did I say Trump was going to lose 4 billion of his fortune and be prosecuted? Before you waste your time with my question let me make it easy for you by quoting exactly what I said…
What a terrifying world we live in, but I can only imagine what will happen if Donald Trump were to become the 45th president. How would the government change with his corruption ways? Donald Trump's abrasive and abusive behavior makes him uncooperative and difficult to realize the issues. Would his harsh and rude comments and involvement with the Ku Klux Klan shatter the world? Or would his statement of “Making America great again” come true? Would the fate of America have a downward spiral?
For the past decades, language has evolved into a number of meanings and phrases. The human language has been used to convey information and give orders. Language has built an unlimited number of phrases and sentences, and has converted words into meanings. However, having the ability to reshape language even a little bit is an extraordinary power. For the past year, President Trump has been reshaping the English language by rebranding the news to fake news.
When Trump came into office have of the country was terrified, surprised, pissed, or even excited. Donald Trump is one of the wealthiest business men alive. Although he is a good business man that doesn't make him a good president. People think I'm too young to even know whats going on in the world, but I know for a fact that Trump isn't the best president.
Like Don Quixote story, In my opinion I think Donald Trump tries to achieve an impossible dream. They both are trying to achieve something they cant. They both have people against them and people that are on there side. All those that he thus devoured none pleased him. So wellas the ones that had been compossed. Don Quixote had many a time he was tempted to take up his pen and literally finish the table. And he undoutedly would have done so, and and would have suceeded at it very well. And like trump,if trump was to win as preisent he would had sent back all lations and other race out of United States.
“Everything in life is luck.” The modern day hero I have chosen to write about is Trump. According to the stages of the hero’s journey my hero Donald Trump encounters many daily challenges.
