It seems as though the LA music scene will always pull me back in. The Walt Disney Concert Hall would be welcoming Sigur Ros along with the LA Philharmonic on April 15, 2017. This being my first time seeing Sigur Ros and going to the Concert Hall, I had no idea what to expect. That being said, I was still familiar with the post rock work of Sigur Ros. Originating from Reykjavík, Iceland, much of their lyrical components are produced using a combination of both the Icelandic and Hopelandic language making their lyrics incomprehensible to many. You would think this would create a barrier to people who do not speak these languages but it creates a new sort of depth to the music that was very present in their live show. In addition there used to be 4 members to the band but due to recent changes there were only 3 now. …show more content…
Construction on the Hall started in 1999 and followed through until 2003 which was its opening date. Frank Gehry was the architect responsible for this beautiful stainless steel building. The show was to start at 8 pm sharp and there was no delay as elegantly dressed people filled their seats around 7:30 pm. While my seat was not the best I still had a nice view. Unlike most venues I've visited the Walt Disney Concert Hall didn't seem to hold a bad seat thanks to its architectural intricacies. No matter where you sat you could still have a clear vision of the artists performance which made it unfortunate that no pictures or videos were allowed to be taken during performances. The first performance of the night was the LA Philharmonic's

Breuer was honored with the commission after he had shown his design abilities in other aspects throughout the city. The museum expansion was just one of the few of Breuer’s designs that still stand today. Breuer’s work in both furniture design and architecture has been around for many years, and will continue to be around for many more to come.
Temple of Music In the annals of World's Fairs, the 1901 Buffalo fair is listed, as a matter of record. However, it is one of the lesser-remembered fairs. This is not due to a lack of planning or physical appeal, but rather to the fact that on September 6, 1901, President William McKinley was shot and killed at the Temple of Music. This was the kind of event that is so infamous and carries such bad press that it condemns everything it touches, from the setting, the surrounding events, and the people involved, to the same black blanket of notoriety.
Prince Hall is recognized as the Father of Black Masonry in the United States. Historically, he made it possible for Negroes to be recognized and enjoy all privileges of free and accepted masonry.
The concert I attended was a Junior piano recital held at The Florida State University College of Music in the Dohnanyi Recital Hall. The pianist was Kaisar Anvar. The pieces performed were:

For my first concert report, I have decided to attend the Applied Music Student Recital. The musical performance was at Palomar College on February 27, 2015 from 1:00P.M.--2:00P.M. at the performance lab room D-10. The type of music that was presented at the concert was a brass ensemble, chamber music, classical, contemporary, jazz, opera, percussion, and many vocal arrangements. There was a total of eight musical Palomar College student performers who are majoring in music theory. I am only going to focus on a few of the musical pieces that I enjoyed most. The majority of the performers were dressed in formal attire. As the men were dressed in a dress shirt, a tie or bow tie of their choice, black slacks, and dress shoes. As for the women, they wore dresses, skirts and dress shoes. Also there was a pianist, accompanist who is a Palomar College music teacher named Ruth Weber. The performance was in a music concert hall with roughly fifty audience members.
One performance that stood out to me during the concert was a song called Sinfonia #3 by J. C. Bach (Wind Ensemble Concert program). The reason I enjoyed this song was because it was performed by nine saxophone players. I would say
...xcited to have this experience. Part of the drama of the concert at first is felt when the musicians come in and sit down and begin tuning up their instruments. I would not be able to comment on the performance of the orchestra. During the performance, I seen the audience were moving with the music, but I felt like that everyone seems knows more music than what I learned throughout this semester. After I went home and did some of the research on these music I finally understand why these people like to attend the orchestra concerto, it was because that every piece of music has a history behind it. The Los Angeles audience seemed to me to be people who know music and who will listen to something new in a respectful way. All the same, when the more familiar sounds of the last piece were heard, I could feel a little sense of relaxation and fun coming into the room.
I attended the Los Angeles Philharmonic classical music concert at the Walt Disney Concert Hall on Friday 29 November 2013. The classical concert started at 8:00pm to the enjoyment of the huge audience that had been waiting for this amazing music extravaganza. Classical music concerts always offer magnificent entertainment and the audience in this concert was expectant to derive such entertainment or more. In attendance were Christian Zacharias who was the conductor and Martin Chalifour who was the LA Phil commanding Principal Concertmaster and Bach violin player. In readiness for the concert, I enjoyed a special dinner prepared for the audience. More specifically, LA Phil staffer introduced us to the evening classical concert amidst cheers from the audience. It was such a refreshing and joyous feeling to be part of this audience.

Risk management is a major success key of project management in business world. With major budget overruns in parallel with significant delays, Sydney Opera House is a real example of poor risk management. Risk management requires effective planning, budgeting, and scheduling. First of all, the highest risks should be identified and evaluated in order to find methods to reduce their impact and exposure. Then, factors that cause risk should be addressed while factors that only correlate with the negative impact but do not affect it may be omitted. At this stage, interrelation between various risks should be accounted for to spot the core factors that should be treated in order to ensure effectively and stability of the project's functioning.
