“Short track racing is always been a way of life and not just a hobby” Bryan Clauson. There's always been people into dirt racing as it is personally my favorite form of racing. This sport isn't all to safe as there has been a massive tragedy in 2016 of Bryan Clauson as he died at the Belleville Midget Nationals. This tragedy sent a shockwave through all sports from dirt to asphalt racing. There is a commitment when you strap into that racecar and that is there's no guarantee that your going to get out so there's always been losses and historical moments in dirt racing. There isn't always tragedies there's famous moments like the 2016 Dream at eldora when a 19 year old kid Bobby Pierce Jr. won the world's most famous dirt race. 2017 will bring new stars like Rico Abreu which has already committed to dirt from nascar and has already won 2 golden drillers from the world's most prestigious midget race, chili bowl nationals in Tulsa Oklahoma .

The business opportunity we will be perusing is renting out motorized scooters to college students. This will appeal to many people because of the savings on gas, convenient parking on campus and the reduction on traffic on and around the universities’ campus. There is currently no competition in this field besides the dealerships themselves selling the scooters. The appeal will come from the low ownership price and reduce cost of ownership because we are leasing and we pay for routine maintenance and registration. We will be able to successfully operate this business because of the following reasons: the demand for cheap and easy transportation on the average college campus, the void currently in affordable ownership for a moped
This case study is about “Specialized Bicycle Components Inc.” known as Ride the Red “S”. Specialized was founded in 1974 by Mike Sinyard. According to Chris Murphy, director of marketing for Red “S”, specialized is for serious riders. He says, “The customer is buying the ride from us, not just the bike.” The company began to produce its own bike parts by 1976, and introduced the first major production mountain bike in the world in 1980. Specialized now has an extensive global distribution network of 5000 retailers in 35 countries in Asia, North America, South America, and Australia. They maintained a reputation as the technological leader in the bike and bike accessories. The formal mission is still the same since they established the company “To give everyone the best ride of their life.”
These same sorts of systems could easily be added to, or modified as needed, to track the new motorcycle lines HD will produce to attract both women and young adults. These systems have been an invaluable means for HD to reevaluate itself in the past and thus are ‘tried and true’ making it a moot point to replace them. HD, however, needs to concentrate some effort on implementing a system to determine the most appropriate locations for future dealerships. This new evaluation system will aid HD in determining effective locations for new dealerships and assist in providing further market share penetration for the company in essentially ‘untapped’ consumer areas.
Young males, and females are buying HD motorcycles over any other competitor. This thought was accomplished through the introduction of the VRSC’S, and the lower and narrow Sportsters, Dyna’s, Softail’s and positioning them in the market to a younger demographic. Secondly, HD needs to position the VRSC’S, Sporster, Dyna and Softail to also appeal to first time buyers of motorcycles.
Italian manufacturer Piaggio ranks as one of the world’s top four players in its core business. It has consolidated leadership in the European 2-wheeler market. Piaggio should not miscalculate its competitors. Competition in the industry is very powerful, not only nationally but internationally as well. This is due to two well-established companies in this sector which are the Japanese Yamaha and Honda. Yamaha and Honda strengths are their long-run experience in the sector and the high quality image of products. Due to participations to the motorcycle championships, these two companies constantly receive positive feedbacks to their efforts in researching for first class products. In the future, other kinds of competitors are expected to arise: Chinese companies whose ability to imitate and create similar products at highly competitive prices is getting more and more dangerous (Piaggio, 2008)
Honda has established a program for its suppliers to strive for improvements in order to meet Honda’s requirements. The goals of the BP program are to improve the relationship between Honda and their suppliers, reduce manufacturing costs, and eliminate product defects. They accomplish these goals by focusing on 5 key areas: Best Position, Best Productivity, Best Product, Best Price, and Best Partners (Bounds and Arnold).

I really like the torquey engine that makes riding in heavy, crawling traffic, down the deserted highway and everything in between so easy.It does have some niggles and annoyances but for Rs 1.1 lakh, the ZMR looks like a good deal. Hero MotoCorp has taken effort in updating the new Karizma ZMR with revamped styling and changes to the engine.Though the design is better than its predecessor, it still isn’t the most visually pleasing motorcycle. It’s the same case in terms of performance, because even though the power has gone up, it could have done with better refinement as well. At around Rs 1.15 lakh on road, you get the cheapest full faired motorcycle currently on sale and a decent tourer. There's also the huge service network and good resale that comes with buying a Hero product. Even though the new Hero Karizma ZMR is a good motorcycle, it isn't as big an improvement over the bike it replaces. And with the current crop of competition, with the likes of the cbr and dukes, it needed to be.So there it is guys. The all new Karizma ZMR. Ride within your limits and always wear a
