The forms of violence that people are aware of are rape, sexual harassment, forced prostitution, female genital mutilation. However, out there, many different variations of violence are present. It was divided into two main categories: physical abuse and psychological/emotional abuse.
Physical Abuse is any unwanted physical contact on the body of women that cause harm or injury. This type of abuse is divided into two: physical abuse and sexual abuse. Examples are slapping, kicking, restraining, hitting, and choking. Domestic violence is a cruelty that happens between spouses. According to a National Demographic and Health Survey, one fourth of women in 2013, which have an age range of 15 to 49 years old who are married, experience physical, sexual or emotional abuse from their husbands. By 2014, the World Health Organization presented that 38% of the murder cases were women involved shows that the perpetrator is their intimate partner. …show more content…

This was performed with the use of nitric, sulphuric, or hydrochloric acid that may result to permanent scar or even blindness with a later effect of trauma. Most common reasons of this abuse are personal conflict with intimate partners, land and property conflicts, gang fight and misunderstanding of religious beliefs(Breaking the Silence: Addressing Acid Attacks in Cambodia, 2010). Cases of acid throwing on female have 75-80% worldwide (Castella, 2013).
Stalking is considered to be an abuse since it is the unwanted too much attention on an individual by another person. This covers the invasion of privacy, harassment on women and increasing extreme violence repeatedly.
