From the bright lights, the 48, 114 seats filled with faithful fans and divergent foes and the stories day in and day out that will forever remain make up this one magnificent place. This is Globe Life Park in Arlington, Texas. home of the Texas Rangers. It occupies 270 acres and was opened up for play on April 1, 1994. I took this photo myself during last year’s playoff series. It is amazing how much detail was put into making this great ballpark. It is unbelievable how the colors, textures, shapes, and so much more were put together to make something so big and remarkable. The grass surrounds a dirt infield and runs along the dirt warning track along the walls. Straight chalked lines connect three bases, leading back to home plate. The lights shining from above reflect off the ground to brighten the field of battle. The seats are like a sea of red as fans come up out of their seats to do the wave while wearing jerseys of their favorite players. The fans rally with chants and cheers to support their team and lead it to victory. Some watch from behind glass in the hall of fame suites with luxurious theater seating and delicious ballpark foods and some watch from above on the third deck where the highest stadium seats are located. No matter where fans are watching from their seats face home plate and the view of the stadium refuses to be hidden. The team honors its fans by featuring them on the kiss cam and displaying fan of the week and even the birthdays up on the big screen for everyone to see. Advertisements and scores from other games surround the playing field to inform viewers of what is going on outside the bricks of the stadium. Fireworks sound like cannons and light up the night sky soon after homeruns are hit over the outfield fence. The
