My aunt who just turned 77 has a bucket list and has completed some of it. I actually helped her complete one of the items on her bucket list and lent moral support for another. So I am thinking should I have a bucket list? What would be on my bucket list? What does it mean if I don’t have a bucket? I had a lot of fun helping my aunt over her birthday weekend. Maybe I really should get one of those bucket list things.
The thunder was so loud it woke me up at 3:30 am and my alarm was set for 4:00 am. I had a whole half hour to sleep yet. Lightening, thunder, thunder, lightening. Better get up and turn on the weather and see what the heck is going. I have a flight to catch at 7:15 am and the taxi is coming at 5:30. TV is on now.

How are we going to get out to the taxi there is a lake across my street all the way to the bottom of my stairs? Well maybe it will stop soon. I’ll call the cab company and delay the pick up time by fifteen minute. The rain should stop my then. “Hello” the voice said on the line. “We have a taxi schedule to pick up at 5:30 can we delay it until 5:45 maybe the rain will stop by then because my street is completely flooded and I am not sure I can get out to the car?” I said. The voice answers, “I am pretty close to you and it’s flooded every where so I’ll work my way there. It might take me a little bit. But we’ll figure something out.” “Ok, we’ll see you soon” I say. But I thinking how in the world are we gong to get out of the house the water is up to the bottom of the …show more content…

On a cold winter's night as snow begins to descend from the heavens a young woman walks out of a lodging house in the small town of Eastmore. The woman Mary Edwards steps out into the street and starts walking to the church located in the center of the town. As Mary is making her way to the church she hears the sound of someone crying. As Monday morning rolled along, Molly gathered all her stuff at the door and yelled for her parents to hurry or she’d be late to catch the bus at school. With all her things stacked in the trunk of the car, her dad could hardly see past her purple suitcase in the rearview mirror, yet that didn't stop him from driving. When Molly and her family pulled up to the parking lot, it was packed with other seniors and their families, they had to park at the back near the entrance gate which was farther away from the bus she needed to go
Arriving at Lacey’s house I walk to the backdoor letting myself into the house. Lacey was putting on tanning lotion in the kitchen, “Lacey,” I called to her, “my mom wants me to pick up snacks for the beach, do you want to go into town with me?”, “Sure,” she replied, “do you mind if my cousin comes with us?”, “Of course I don’t mind,“ I answered, “but we have to get moving, my dad only left me the car to use ‘til noon.”
“Mykell!Wake up my mom said.We are going to Disney. When I heard that I got right up.Running to the bathroom to brush my teeth. Then I said MOM I am almost ready. While I was packing my bag I was thinking how much fun we were going to have, but I did not know what kind of adventure we are going to have. Starting to run to the car I noticed that I was the only one almost at the car.
Dad tried to give the guard twenty dollars, but he refused. Dad shook his hand and thanked him several times. I could go on and on about the rest of our trip but it would take another twenty pages. Unfortunately this was not the last outburst my father had at Disney World. I can tell you one more thing. Through the chaos Dad finally made it to It’s a Small World with his family. It was the biggest smile he showed through the whole trip, but it wasn’t his last. We have been to Disney World twice since then. We still always ride It’s a Small World and I always bring cotton balls for my ears. The cotton keeps my arms from getting tired.
With fear we go outside and pile into the maroon truck without putting on our shoes. Alivia brought a blanket and is clinging to it like crazy. Keri drives around Osceola while we listen to some country music. We talk about whether it was the wind, or if we need to call Eric. It’s about 1 A.M. and we head back to Brianna’s house. Alivia doesn’t want to go back in the house, but Keri makes her. She still not convinced it was just the wind. Keri feels so bad for us and we end up sleeping in the living room because no one wants to go back into the bedroom. We fall asleep on the big brown couch. I am the last one to wake up. When I do Lexi tells me that it was the wind that kept shutting the door because that morning Keri went in and checked. I laugh thinking I was just scared by the
Everyone ordered food except Kelly and I because we didn’t have any money. Because McDonald’s was so close to my house, we decided to ride our bikes back and get money from my dad since he had just gotten home. We got to my house and my dad gave me money for both of us to eat, he even asked if we wanted him to drive us there so we did not have to ride back, but since it was such a nice day we chose to ride our backs back. We then hopped back onto our beach cruisers and headed back towards McDonald’s. We waited at the crosswalk to cross the street. After crossing Cedar Road and heading towards our destination, it was then that Kelly had realized she had dropped her phone at the crosswalk light on the other side of the street, and it was then that my whole life would change in a matter of
I woke up to the sound of my mom calling my name. ‘’Just five more minutes,’’ I said as I pulled the covers over my head. ‘’We’re going to Yosemite.’’ my mom said. My mom finally dragged me out of bed. I trudged into the bathroom and then brushed my teeth and got dressed. ‘’Well look who got up.’’ my grandma yelled. My sister ruffled my hair. ‘’Hey bro.’’ my sister said sitting down for breakfast. I went and joined her. “Do you want cereal or french toast?” asked my grandma. “I’ll have cereal please.” I said. We all ate breakfast and packed some backpacks with waters and got on the road by 8:30. My sister sang a song I didn’t recognize. “What song is that?” I asked. “Heart of gold” she replied. “Never heard of it” I said. We pulled up to the
Fishing is one of the most popular forms of outdoor recreation in the United States. Estimates of the rate of participation and number of persons 16 years and older participating range from 17% or 35.2 million to 29% or 57.9 million (USDOI and USDOC 1997; Cordell et al.1999).Fishing is popular outdoor activity than other activities because it low cost and physical demands. Event planning is needed for all sorts of occasions such as, birthday parties, weddings, fundraisers, product launches, concerts, anniversaries, fashion shows, conferences, graduations, business meetings, and much more!
