The current global economy has not only increased the supply of ample products based on consumers’ demands, but it has also increased competitiveness among the companies to spread their influence over the international market. The strategy used by the companies to stand out more than the others is by fortifying the element of Corporate Social Responsibility in their organization. At Starbucks Corporation, we have always given major importance to our CSR strategies and the impact of our projects in the process of betterment of the community. It is our goal to not only be the world’s renowned coffee brand, but to also be the organization that implements the sense of ethical and sustainable business practices into each and every one of our business partners and our employers. The essence of Starbucks and its caffeinated beverages subsidiaries lies in the quality of the materials used mainly coffee. We are focused on purchasing 100 percent morally sourced espresso in collaboration with Conservation International. In 2015, Starbucks focused on employing 10,000 youths by 2018. These young fellows and ladies speak to an enormous, undiscovered door for a mixture of profitability and inventiveness in the workforce as well as being the forefronts of future workforce. As of March 2017, Starbucks is pleased to report we have enlisted more than 40,000 youths and extended our objective to recruiting 100,000 youths by 2020.
