A good ethical foundation is the requirement of any professional. It is essential and contributes to the success of a professional by providing the moral standards deemed necessary in society to continuously exercise proper conduct. At some point in our profession, we will be faced with circumstances that challenge our ethical stance. However, it is in these moments we should not be pushed into an ethical dilemma, but look to stand firm on what we know is legitimate and admissible. A professional should always operate in the most just, upright and ethical manner seeking opportunities to improve and foster perpetual growth and development.
