Social policies focus on the ways in which we as the people develop the welfare of people and families. Although public policies have shown to be very effective in deterring crime, the problems still exist in the process of making these policies because it plays an extremely important role in American society. These problems are because these policy makers are narrow minded. Some of the issues are poverty, health, crime, education, homelessness, and child protection, which includes looking at both the nature of society problems and also the policies directed towards them by the government.
