On April 28, 2017, at approximately 1926 hours, I responded to 5618 Astoria Place Road in reference to a death investigation. Upon my arrival, the Orange County Fire Rescue Department (OCFRD), Engine #6, was present at the scene and EMT Daniel Ronan pronounced the subject; Kendall Chappell deceased at 1924 hours. Upon my arrival, I met with OCFRD Daniel Ronan, and he informed me when he arrived on scene, Kendall was lying on his back, not breathing, or any signs of life. Denial Ronan then pronounced him dead. When I arrived on scene, I noticed pill bottles everywhere in the room. There where pill bottles on the night stand next to his bed, on the dresser next to the window, and pills in a box. I also saw cut up straws on a glass that was …show more content…

Nicole stated that she was trying to eat some food in the kitchen when Brandon entered and started yelling at her. Brandon then grabbed the fork out of Nicole's right hand and proceeded to stab her in the left fore arm. Following Brandon stabbing her and in order for her to get him off of her, Nicole grabbed a kitchen knife and scraped Brandon's head just next to his left temple. Michael Clodfelter, who was asleep in the bedroom, then came out and started pushing Brandon to keep him away from Nicole. Nicole went and sat in the bedroom to wait for my arrival.
According to Mrs. Ramsey’s statement to the police, she was awakening JonBenet at 5:45 am for a family trip to Charlevox,
It was a 92 degree fahrenheit morning at 9:45 on August 14th, when Doug Greene placed a call to 911. He informed the police that he was concerned because Anna had been seen wearing a sweater the previous day despite the unusual heat and wasn’t answering her calls or her door. Both the police and the EMT arrived at the crime scene at 9:56 am where they found Anna Garcia lying on the floor. They entered the crime scene and declared Anna dead. The crime scene was then secured at 10:20 am for investigation. The crime scene was confined to a 10’ by 20’ entry hallway. At the crime scene, investigators marked areas where vomit, blood stains, blood spatter, footprints, a strand of hair, scattered pills, a syringe, and dirty cup were lying on the floor. They also discovered fingerprints that could be taken to a lab for analyzation. Anna was found lying face-down against the floor surrounded by blood and vomit near her mouth. In one of the chapters, Shelby is walking home from a party and Jason Puckett came running up to her and was trying to walk her home. When they were walking, Shelby caught a familiar scent that was on her cat Ernie earlier in the book. That’s when Shelby realized that the stalker was Jason Puckett and he was walking right beside her. Another exciting event that happened was when Shelby tried to make a run for it when Jason was walking with her. She made it a little bit up the street but was soon knocked to the ground because Jason caught up and jumped at her feet. After that he tied her up and locked her in a shed. Near the end of the book, Shelby was smart enough to use the batteries from the Walkman and put them in the mini alarm her dad gave her. When she was under the floor boards, Shelby heard some kids coming so she turned on the alarm hoping that they would hear it and save her. The kids heard the alarm because they ran off to go and get help. There was soon a loud crash of the door being knocked to the ground. Shelby started to kick the floor boards so that they would know that she was under the floor. Some shuffling was happening above her as the table was being moved out of the way and the floor board was lifted up. The police officer reached down and helped Shelby out from under the floor board. They drove Shelby home and her family was so excited to see her. When she was inside, to her surprise, Greg was standing there relived that Shelby was ok. Her and Greg made up, said their apologies and got back
she was drunk and called another man to help wake her up and get her
Her brother reported finding her in her living room on the couch. He reported that she was difficult to rouse, and becoming concerned, he called 911. Prior to the ambulance arriving, Mrs. Jones vomited several times and her brother noted a significant amount of partly dissolved pills in the emesis. Upon checking her medicine cabinet, he found several prescription bottles empty and some over the counter medications open in the cabinet. He brought these medication bottles to the ED. Poison control was contacted and they recommended giving her activated charcoal to absorb the medications. The charcoal was offered and Mrs. Jones refused, stating that she wanted no treatment and had attempted to kill herself for a reason.
I looked up at Gabriel from the grass. I never actually got to inspect the full extent of his features. His dark brown hair was tussled and looked as if he had been running his fingers through it from stress. His green eyes resembled emeralds. He had a bit of muscle on him, but he wasn’t too broad shouldered. You could see a small rose tattoo on his upper bicep. He wore a dark green t-shirt and jeans. He was definitely handsome, and all his features complimented each other.
The first half of my book “The Cellar” written by Natasha Preston, was so good that I could not put the book down. The girl, at that point, had no memories which include her name and anything before she woke up on a dirty, bloody cabin floor. She looked down at her throbbing hand and found that two of her fingernails were missing.
He tries to hurt her, but Dana is quick enough to get a sharp object and stab him. She then grows scared because once rufus fell. Nigel was there and saw it, though it did help her go back to her own time period. Once she is back, she hugs Kevin and then does research of what exactly happened to the house. Both learn that the house has burned down and that the owner, which was Rufus, died inside. Dana believes that Nigel has started the fire so that no one would know what exactly happened to Rufus. Upon learning that, both her and Kevin start to breathe more comfortably now.
Once Campbell was in the room, MCSO was still en route to ORMC and I was tasked with removing the handcuffs from her person. Once she was released from the restraints, the nursing staff began treating her. Upon the departure from medical staff from her room, Campbell stood up and

The Creature That Opened My Eyes Sympathy, anger, hate, and empathy, these are just a few of the emotions that came over me while getting to know and trying to understand the creature created by victor frankenstein in Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein. For the first time I became completely enthralled in a novel and learned to appreciate literature not only for the great stories they tell but also for the affect it could have on someones life as cliché as that might sound, if that weren’t enough it also gave me a greater appreciation and understanding of the idiom “never judge a book by its cover.” As a pimply faced, insecure, loner, and at most times self absorbed sophomore in high school I was never one to put anytime or focus when it came time

As we are near half way I turn around to notice that only 2 of my friends were with me and that Kev must have fallen behind the group. We have now waited in the woods for 45 minutes and no sign of Kev anywhere. As my friends and I start to get worried we head back to the mansion to try to figure out where our friend has disappeared to. As we slowly approach the house we run into a very creepy looking guy walking with his cats and his little baby son. He started questioning us on if we knew who this kid that he found in his house, and what we were doing in the wood in the woods at 12:30 in the morning. We refused to answer his questions and decided to leave the situation and hope that Kev made it back to the house
