It brings family together and tears them apart in the worst way. Players understand the consequences of playing the sport football. Players don’t just play football for the thrill, or the winning. Football teaches players about life, how to work together. Players even meet new people. Taking football away could really affect people, and their life. It has been around for almost one hundred and fifty years. If it wasn’t a problem then it isn’t a problem now. Yes, there are lots of consequences involving injuries but we have new technology. New ways of helping players when they are injured. New ways of making the sport safer. But it is causing many players to still be severely injured which is causing people to think that football is too dangerous. Taking away football from not only players but the viewers could do damage to this whole country. Family’s get together on sundays for “Football Sunday,’’ family’s bond and that’s not often anymore. They come together have dinner and watch football. Taking that away could really affect people and how much time they spend together. Most people are on their phones at family events which causes them to not be social. Football brings them off their phone and has them watch something interesting with their family. It’s obviously not my decision whether football stays or not, but in my opinion it should stay. And nothing you say could change that. Players know exactly what they are risking as soon as they join football. Maybe we should look at other sports that are promoting violence like boxing or UFC? Why is football the main concern?
