Introduction
Artificial intelligence is a branch of science that deals with electronic devices or machines that help in finding solutions of the complex problems in the same pattern as humans do. This usually comprises on features and traits borrowing from human intelligence, and applies them as computer algorithms in a friendly way. An efficient approach can be adopted depending on the appropriate requirements, which affect how artificial intelligent behavior appears.
Artificial intelligence in general, is related with the field of computer science, but it has important linkages with other areas such as Mathematics, Psychology, Cognition, Biology and Philosophy, are among many other fields. Human beings have the ability to combine the knowledge of all these fields that ultimately benefit progress in the pursuit to craft artificial intelligent existence.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the intellect that unveiled by the devices. In computer science the supreme "intelligent machine” is a supple cogent factor that detects its surroundings and take actions that increase the chance of success in approaching the goals (Russell & Norvig 2003). In the colloquial manner, the term "artificial intelligence" is used when the machine imitate the intellectual feature that make able humans to

In public facilities, like to predict what a user will type and correct human errors in spelling and intelligence machine is at work. Applications such as Siri, which serve as personal subordinates, GPS and mapping applications that allow users to better or shortest way to make the system as well as traffic estimates, and time to get there, and the use of artificial intelligence. Applications on phones or computers that predict the user's actions, as well as make recommendations that fit the user's choice, and applications of AI. Thus we see that artificial intelligence has made daily life at
The official foundations for "artificial intelligence" were set forth by A. M. Turing, in his 1950 paper "Computing Machinery and Intelligence" wherein he also coined the term and made predictions about the field. He claimed that by 1960, a computer would be able to formulate and prove complex mathematical theorems, write music and poetry, become world chess champion, and pass his test of artificial intelligences. In his test, a computer is required to carry on a compelling conversation with humans, fooling them into believing they are speaking with another human. All of his predictions require a computer to think and reason in the same manner as a human. Despite 50 years of effort, only the chess championship has come true. By refocusing artificial intelligence research to a more humanlike, cognitive model, the field will create machines that are truly intelligent, capable of meet Turing's goals. Currently, the only "intelligent" programs and computers are not really intelligent at all, but rather they are clever applications of different algorithms lacking expandability and versatility. The human intellect has only been used in limited ways in the artificial intelligence field, however it is the ideal model upon which to base research. Concentrating research on a more cognitive model will allow the artificial intelligence (AI) field to create more intelligent entities and ultimately, once appropriate hardware exists, a true AI.
Strong AI, or strong artificial intelligence, is a class in artificial intelligence development that strives to develop computers that can operate on the human level. One of the ideas of strong AI is that digital computers can one day intellectualize on the same level as a human mind. The concept of strong AI provides insight on the relationship between the physical and mental states. With strong AI, the mind is analogous to programs and the brain is analogous to computer hardware. Strong AI provides a thought provoking philosophy on what constitutes a mind.
As our research into science and technology ever increases its seems inevitable that in the near future Artificial Intelligent machines will exist and become part of our everyday life such as we see with modern computers today.
In order to see how artificial intelligence plays a role on today’s society, I believe it is important to dispel any misconceptions about what artificial intelligence is. Artificial intelligence has been defined many different ways, but the commonality between all of them is that artificial intelligence theory and development of computer systems that are able to perform tasks that would normally require a human intelligence such as decision making, visual recognition, or speech recognition. However, human intelligence is a very ambiguous term. I believe there are three main attributes an artificial intelligence system has that makes it representative of human intelligence (Source 1). The first is problem solving, the ability to look ahead several steps in the decision making process and being able to choose the best solution (Source 1). The second is the representation of knowledge (Source 1). While knowledge is usually gained through experience or education, intelligent agents could very well possibly have a different form of knowledge. Access to the internet, the la...
Scientists claim that devices with Artificial Intelligence will replace office workers during next 5 years (Maksimova).According to this statement it is possible to say that AI has a great influence on humanity. Pursuant to Oxford Dictionary Artificial Intelligence or AI is the theory and development of computer systems able to perform tasks normally requiring human intelligence, such as visual perception, speech recognition, decision-making, and translation between languages(dictionary).Firstly, this research will analyze positive and negative impacts of development of Artificial Intelligence on economic sphere. Then, author going to discuss social effects of Artificial Intelligence. After the considering all perspectives that link to this topic, the last step will be to draw a conclusion.
Artificial Intelligence is in the simplest of terms, an electronic brain. For decades, computer and electronics experts have envisioned creating a machine equally as intelligent as a human being. Initially it was little more than the idea behind chilling science fiction novels. Threatening types of robotic machines fueled the negative side of any discussion over the artificial intelligence pros and cons.
It involves a number of different sciences including computer science, psychology, linguistics, philosophy, and mathematics. The main problem with A.I. is that human intelligence is difficult to copy and recreate. Simple things like interacting and communicating with others is remarkable hard to program. Computers would have to understand natural language; the same way another person would. It would have to think and form ideas based on questions. According to, Patrick Winston a professor at CSAIL, “simple mistakes like answering “Richard Nixon” on a question asking for a first lady points to... lack of human-like intelligence”.(Winston) Currently there are many project by large organizations that claim they found ways to get computers to understand people. Its still very early to say what the future of A.I. will be, but in a world where everybody uses phones and computers its probably going to be a big part of
AI is used to help alleviate the difficulties faced by humans in their day-to-day work. Artificial intelligence causes a huge impact on the different aspects of people’s lives and on the different fields in the industry.
The approach to artificial intelligence should be proceeded with caution. Throughout recent years and even decades before, it has been a technological dream to produce artificial intelligence. From movies, pop culture, and recent technological advancements, there is an obsession with robotics and their ability to perform actions that require human intelligence. Artificial intelligence has become a real and approachable realization today, but should be approached with care and diligence. Humans can create advanced artificial intelligence but should not because of the harm they may cause, the monumental advancement needed in the technology, and that its harm outweighs its benefits.
Artificial intelligence is a concept that has been around for many years. The ancient Greeks had tales of robots, and the Chinese and Egyptian engineers made automations. However, the idea of actually trying to create a machine to perform useful reasoning could have begun with Ramon Llull in 1300 CE. After this came Gottfried Leibniz with his Calculus ratiocinator who extended the idea of the calculating machine. It was made to execute operations on ideas rather than numbers. The study of mathematical logic brought the world to Alan Turing’s theory of computation. In that, Alan stated that a machine, by changing between symbols such as “0” and “1” would be able to imitate any possible act of mathematical
Artificial Intelligence is intelligence which is exhibited by machines. A.I. simply refers to making computers act more intelligently.
Artificial intelligence is intelligent behavior by machines, rather than the natural intelligence of humans and other animals. The sub-levels of artificial intelligence that researchers have found are; Reasoning (problem solving), cognitive simulation, deep recurrent neutral networks, control theory, finance, and automotive. Robots are going to be able to have the problem solving skills greater than any human being. Artificial intelligence today is known as weak AI, and is only able to perform things like facial recognition or Internet searches. (Max Tegmark) The long-term goal of researchers is to be able to outperform humans at specific tasks, from playing chess to any cognitive task given. There are going to be so many advancements in the future; everybody already using technology all the time on their own mobile devices. The world has come to where people cannot live without their phones or technology being with them at all times. Technology is necessary but thought of artificial intelligence is a different
Artificial intelligence is defined as developing computer programs to solve complex problems by applications of processes that are analogous to human reasoning processes. Roughly speaking, a computer is intelligent
Artificial Intelligence “is the ability of a human-made machine to emulate or simulate human methods for the deductive and inductive acquisition and application of knowledge and reason” (Bock, 182). The early years of artificial intelligence were seen through robots as they exemplified the advances and potential, while today AI has been integrated society through technology. The beginning of the thought of artificial intelligence happened concurrently with the rise of computers and the dotcom boom. For many, the utilization of computers in the world was the most advanced role they could ever see machines taking. However, life has drastically changed from the 1950s. This essay will explore the history of artificial intelligence, discuss the
Artificial intelligence is an idea of if the human thought process can be mechanized. It was around the 1940’s – 50’s that a group of people came together to discuss the possibility of creating an artificial brain and its uses. These people were a variety of scientists from different fields such as mathematics, economics, engineering, and etc. This was the birth of the field of artificial intelligence. While artificial intelligence would prove to be technologically revolutionary by introducing new ideas such as quantum computers or robots, said new ideas could result in the downfall of mankind. The result could range to being the plummet of the economy, the end of the human race, or even the corruption of the next generation and onwards. All of these problems resulting in the possibility of the end of the earth. The more we need to learn more about technology and further advance it, the closer we are getting to the extinction of the human race. These are the reasons why the advancement of artificial intelligent should be halted or banned so no harm can be done even without the intentions.
