They were both enemies, basketball stars, and brothers. Both of them have the same father, Brad, but a different mother. They both live in the same town and go to the same school. Ben is the oldest, he is tall, and has dark hair. He lives with his mother because his father left him when he was really little, so he has nothing to do with his father. Alex is the younger one and he lives with his father, he is rich, he is the troubled one, and he acts exactly like his father. Brad is a really bad man and he was enemies with his brother and he thought he was better than him at everything. At basketball practice Alex is always showing off to Ben and he is always saying how much better he is then him. After basketball practice, Alex went over to Ben and said,” You shouldn’t be apart of my family because you are a disgrace in basketball and in everything else you do.” That made Ben furious and he wanted to punch him in the face and say, “ No. you shouldn’t be apart of the family and neither should Brad because you get whatever you want and you and Brad think you're better than me at everything I do. Ben said, “Hey, what’s up?” Alex replied, “We need to talk about us and our dad.” “Okay, I think that’s a good idea,” said Ben. “I know we are both very angry about what happened last night and we both want to go over there and start a fight with him, but what he did made me realize that we are acting just like him, we are getting into fights like him and his brother used to do and if we keep acting like we are now then we are just going end up in the same situation as him once we get older,” Alex said. “I agree, so friends,” asked Ben. “Friends,” replied Alex. Ben replied, “It is good that we got our act together because if we didn’t then coach would kick us off the team.” They both laughed and started playing basketball together and having fun like regular

The Fab Five In 1991 in the Crisler Center Arena of Michigan University a revolution of culture rebellion had begun. The Fab Five or formally known as Juwan Howard, Jimmy King, Chris Webber, Jalen Rose, and Ray Jackson. Some might say they were the best thing to happen to basketball but to some they were everything that was wrong with college basketball. In my opinion they were more than just people playing basketball. The Fab Five transformed the way basketball is played and how it is viewed.
At every level of basketball there are players that have shined on and off the court, this is true for two exceptional players like Michael Jordan and LeBron James. The debate over these two marvelous athletes and who is the better of the two, has divided sports fans since LeBron earned his first Finals Championship.
Of all of his children, Bull's eldest son Ben is treated the harshest. He is expected to be the greatest at basketball, yet should he become better than his father, there is trouble. Bull believes that Ben is "babied" too much and he desires him to have the Great Santini's "gift of fury.
Both have many similar characterizations, mostly they revolve around there innocent tendencies towards their view of the world and what it brings to them. While their point of views are also similar, being that they are in basically the same situation and are looking up towards females and trying to be there for them like I said before. This just shows how much the two of them need to learn in their years to come.
One thing they both have in common is hustling people for money in pool games. This is one of their main hobbies and happens a lot throughout the course of the story. Since neither are able to get and keep a job, this is how they provide money for their family.
Many people who watch or play basketball always argue who is the best of all time, or which basketball player is better than the other. And the most two basketball players that get compared with each other is Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan. Both of these two players are exciting to watch when they are on the basketball court. Taking a closer look into both of their careers you can see major similarities but you can also see where both of them have their different paths. Even though they both make the basketball world a better place the real question that needs to be answered is who is better.
They believe what contributed to the film’s success was Ben’s “black-rage”. He was a harsh hero, even shooting one of the other characters who was defenseless. Although Ben played the protagonist, he still wouldn’t be described as a hero. All he wanted to do was survive and everyone looked to him to be the leader, so he had to reluctantly take the role. Ben and Barbara being alone in the farmhouse caused some attention.
Even though there friendship started off with hatred after talking, they got to know each other. They shared their goals, dreams, their education and their families with each other freely. Mr. Malter, Reuven’s father, tells Reuven what a friend is defined as, and tells Reuven to give Danny a chance to get to know him better, because Danny needs him.
Kobe Bryant vs Michael Jordan? This is a controversial question in the NBA league. Kobe Bryant is one of the greatest basketball players of all time who was approaching or even goes beyond Michael Jordan. Both player are well-known to the world and as well as their basketball skills. As a similarity, both players are playing shooting guard and with similar play-style. I grew up with Kobe Bryant as a personal hero and barely knew who Michael Jordan was, now that I have examined the two players objectively. I concede that Michael Jordan’s skills are superior.
Ben is one of the main characters in the movie. It all started with the class going to a
Though the father's influence was quite indirect; he mostly figured in their afterglow and rather idealistic fancies, both of them became decent and hard-working people. At the age of seventeen, Ben left his home for Alaska, but soon found himself in Africa and at twenty-one he was already rich. He spent the rest of his life in Africa where he died. He was a wealthy, influential and successful man and fathered seven children. He preferred to be brutal but effective, as befits the jungles of life. On one of his brief visits to Willy's home he admonished Biff, his nephew: "Never fight fair with a stranger, boy. You'll never get out of the jungle that way."
Ben: Why, boys when I was seventeen I walked into the jungle, and when I was twenty-one I walked out. And By God I was rich.
Carson’s story begins in Detroit, Michigan, at the age of eight with the departure of his father, leaving young Ben, his brother Curtis, and his mother to fend for themselves. Young Benjamin immediately began to notice changes in what once had been a financially stable family, and that his family would now be forced to struggle to get by. With only a third grade education Carson’s mother was forced to take on two, sometimes three jobs to provide for her two boys. Benjamin and his brother fell farther and farther behind in school; in fifth grade, Carson was at the bottom of his class. His classmates called him "dummy" and he developed a violent, uncontrollable temper.
