For more than two decades, democrats and republicans remain the most dominant political parties in the United States of America. Both defend different ideologies and proceed differently in terms of politics and/or economics. In this essay, we will discuss how these two 2016 parties’ platforms differ from each other, what are their similarities and finally argue what I would use from each party’s platform in a campaign against its candidates if I were to be working for the other side. By just looking at the first contents of each parties one can tell what the main and real goals are. In the republican platform we can tell that their first goal focus on the economy. For instance, the party wants strives for the restoring of the American dream. They both explain what their beliefs are, what ideas they would defend. The two political parties make sure that their platform will explicit enough their principles and opinions. The democratic and republican party both defend the ideas of providing wealth, health, security, and better living conditions including educations to the society. They both emphasize on the diplomatic relationship the United States entertains with the other countries mostly African, European, and from middle eastern. In fact, in both platforms respectively in the democrat and republican, it is stated “American Leadership is essential to keeping us safe and our economy growing in the years ahead” (DNC Platform, 2016) and “Us leadership” (Republican Platform, 2016).
