Martin Luther King was one of the African Americans who had a voice or an opinion. King gave many speeches about segregation, discrimination, and slavery. One of King most famous speech was “I have a dream”, another speech he gave was “American Dream”. Accordingly, he talks about, African Americans are segregated, he knew if he didn’t put an end to it nobody will. However, Martin had a dream for all men of all races and nationalities to live together as brothers. The “I have a dream” speech wasn’t as outgoing as the “American Dream”. Both of the speeches were persuasive, he was trying to reach out with a message for every one of all nationalities to get the same rights as brothers. Martin also talks about the democracy and economy. For example, he mentions, “the price America must pay for the continued exploitation of the Negro and other minority groups is the prize of its own destruction”. Which means, if it wasn’t for African Americans the economy will be worse. Additionally, both speeches state that the economy in the South depended on the slaves. …show more content…

Martin used magnificent words very high level and it was a formal speech. King speech was an educational speech, the sentences were pretty long too.This is clear because he uses such high level language it to make his point across. Additionally, he also reminds the audience of an unfair treatment towards the African Americans.In the “I have a dream” speech King also mentions the quote, “For whites only”.
