Water is essential for life, and occupies seventy one percent of the Earth's surface. Saltwater is more abundant in the world. Although, freshwater makes up about two percent of the Earth's surface and is what people drink, saltwater makes up over sixty eight percent of the Earth's surface and is much more compelling than freshwater. Even though, both salt bodies of water and fresh bodies of water are packed with life, mysteries, dangers, uses, and activities, salt bodies of water are more fascinating. Bodies of both saltwater and freshwater are loaded with unique plant life. Plants are vital for all healthy aquatic ecosystems. Anytime you are out in the water, there is a chance something dangerous will happen. People can become stranded without a way to reach shore. Sadly, anytime you are in water, there is a risk of drowning, yet most drowning incidents occur in freshwater. It is smart to always be prepared and safe when near water.
Mysterious things can occur or be found in any body of water, and many have yet to be discovered. Heaps of mysteries have been left unsolved, such as unresolved sunken ships, and there are many undiscovered species in both freshwater and saltwater. Although a freshwater environment is always changing, and there is always something new to discover and learn, saltwater is more mysterious. Salt bodies of water such as oceans are so deep, and there are so many undiscovered species amongst the depths and the darkness.
All bodies of water are very extraordinary, but salt bodies of water are more fascinating than fresh bodies of water.
