APA formatting is a type of format in which factual information is provided in an easy to follow, credible, universally known research paper. This format is one of the most used research paper formats in applied sciences, nursing, business, and social sciences. APA format it also very similar to other commonly used formats, however slightly different, while providing similar challenges to others. While the APA format is unique in its own right I can not help but compare it to MLA formatting, with its similar but slightly different ways of citing sources and structure.
