One research study can have different version. That’s because when that research study is out for the public to know regarding what the researchers found out in their study of certain societal issue, different forms of media interpret it into their own interpretation before publishing to the public to consume. As a consumer of news sometimes it is overwhelming and confusing to read the different version of one study because different media outlets tend to take the words out of context. However, not all reports are confusing. There are still reports that stay similar to the original information of the research study even though it has been translated so many times, like the reports made by Karen Decarr (2014) titled “Women with Higher Education Level No More Likely to Divorce, Josh Elliot’s (2014) “She’s the brains: Men happier with a smarter wife, and Samantha Olsen’s (2014) “ Educated Women No Longer Face A Higher Risk of Divorce; Gender Roles Are Changing which are all based on the research study of Christine Schwartz and Honyan Han (2014) “ The Reversal of the Gender Gap in Education and Trends in Marital Dissolution”.

He authored the report titled “She’s the brains: Men happier with a smarter wife” (Elliot, 2014). Compare to Decarr, in Elliot’s report he was more specific with the reasoning behind the relation of wives’ higher education to the weakening of marriage dissolution. Elliot point out that men are now happier in “relationship where their wife is more educated and as a result, divorce rates among such couples went down” (Elliot, 2014). Also, like Decarr, Elliots reporting of Schwartz and Han study findings is short but direct to the main point. He only took out the context of the study where he thought people would be interested to know. Aside from Elliot and Decarr, another writer also published the findings of Schwartz and Han research study and her name is Samantha
