Black lives matter vs All lives matter
As you may know there are two groups known as Black Lives Matter and all live matter but they both represent different things. But they both are for peace between different races and cultures around the world. But all lives matter was created because white people got jealous of black lives matter. Black lives matter was created because black people were getting tired of getting police brutality. There has been a lot of outrage between all lives matter being created black people were outraged. Because black lives matter was created to change the minds of people who are racist. But people think black lives matter is more important than all lives matter because it wasn’t created to compete with a race pure of jealousy. But the two groups are for peace.

issues between black lives matter is starting to get more and more serious. There been fights between both factions and it has even got to a point where people have been trying to make black lives matter into a terrorist group. Black lives matter has been trying to bring peace through peaceful protests about police brutality. Black lives matter isn’t trying to compete. Between different organization they even care about other cultures too even if their name is black lives matter. Police brutality has been affecting black lives more and more every day and even though they shoot black people. Because of their color they respond with peaceful protests. That brings me to my second reason to why black lives matter is more important than all lives matter. Police brutality is getting more and more serious and violent every month there is a new case of a cop killing a black person. The stories of how the black man supposedly pulled out a weapon on the cop is becoming more and more fake. Because they are cops their word is more valued than a black citizen. For example Michael brown a former resident of ferguson missouri he was killed by the police because supposedly he was resisting arrest. Right now police brutality has no solution. But i think we should pass more laws that help convict police that kill people because of their color. Police brutality must be stopped in america and will be if we all come together and stop this. This brings to my third reason why Black Lives Matter is better than All Lives Matter and wants peace brought to our nation.
Black Lives Matter is more important because they are looking to help other cultures in america. Also Black Lives Matter members have to deal with problems everyday such as racism and police brutality. They have experienced more harassment than any group only because they are black. All Lives Matter don’t try to help people but themselves also they don't care about other cultures. They have not experience the same pain as Black Lives Matter. That is why Black LIves Matter is more important than All Lives Matter.
Both groups are fighting to bring peace but i understand why All Lives Matter was created and Why they do what they do. All Lives Matter works in a similar way in what Black Lives matter does they both want peace and tranquility. But they still don't understand the hardships of getting harassed and bullied everyday because of their skin color. They work in similar matters as well All Lives matter has done some good things. Compared to Black Lives Matter they have tried to bring every culture away from being
friendly. Both Groups are fighting to get peace but there are still some major differences between both factions. But people still think that Black LIves Matter is a true peace bringer And All LIves Matter tries to but doesn't succeed. An Alternative to bring peace between both groups is to combine groups and become one big group. By doing this we will not have any problems between each group and race. Also there will be peace between different cultures and races. So there has to be a change soon or else there will be even more problems between each group. I hope soon we can all live in peace and there won't be any differences between different cultures and races.
The issues of how technology is influencing our nation today has come into play with social media and surveillance in our personal lives. We use twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc. to express our opinions on things and as a voice to inform people on what’s going on in today’s society. We have learned how to use the tools we’ve been given to change our lives forever; our government has access to all of our personal information in exchange for our protection against terrorism. In Bijan Stephen’s article on “Black Lives Matter” and Rebecca McKinnon’s chapter on “the Arab Spring”, they both touch on the power of technology in negative and positive ways.
Two exceptions to the class avoidance phenomenon: discussion about the middle class as acceptable and presenting glimpses of the poor and wealthy that conform to common stereotypes. Americans are misinformed to believe the following myths: class distinctions are non-existent, middle-class is the norm, everyone is getting richer, and the chances of success are equal for everyone. The U.S. has the highest income gap between the wealthiest and poorest in the industrial world, which is approximately 12 to 1. In 2004, the affluent experienced a wage increase by 12%, whereas the 99% of average income makers saw an increase of 1%. The Making of the Ghetto: One of the biggest forms of equity is home ownership, and between 1933 and 1978, the Federal Housing Authority (FHA) supported millions of Americans by providing small down payments and reasonable payment plans, if they fell within their requirements.
Today there are many controversial subjects discussed throughout the media. One of the most discussed is race and the Black Lives Matter movement. Recently, I came across an article titled “The Truth of ‘Black Lives Matter’”, written by The Editorial Board. The article was published on September 3, 2015, to the New York Times. In the article, The Editorial Board writes about what they believe African Americans are facing as challenges in society today, including the all-too-common police killings of unarmed African-Americans across the country. The Editorial Board is right that some African Americans have been treated unfairly, but all ethnicities have been. Life is a precious thing that comprises all ethnicities. This brings us to ask; why
Does “Black Lives Matter” really believe in the slogan they advocate for? Black Lives Matter or BLM was founded in 2013 carrying the slogan “hands up don’t shoot” following the shooting of Michael Brown by a Hispanic Officer. Black Lives Matter believes that we live in a society plagued by Racism(Rightsidenews). Looking at BLM as a movement makes it readily apparent that they’re the racist ones. Black Lives Matter should be abolished because they ironically enough don’t care about black lives, they skew facts to further their narrative and spread violence.
Black lives matter is a social media movement that went of the Ferguson, Gardner cases etc. Also very rapidly it was to show as a opposition to the police and cops. Somehow when saying black lives matter it was like saying all life matter don’t matter. It’s a touchy subject due to why people view things and for most case I can understand. I feel that the person that made black life’s matter didn’t mean for it to be just all about black life but to inform others around the nation that there is a special problem that is only happening in the African American community and we have fix that issue . we as a society has to recognize this that the African American are not making this up this its not something being politicalized its real and there’s a history behind it so we have to seriously.
American is known for its rich culture and diversity. Black lives matter (BLM) is an international activist movement, originating in the African-American community, that campaigns against violence and systemic racism toward black people as defined by google. It was created in 2012 as a call to action for black people after seventeen year old Trayvon Martin was placed on trial for his own murder and the killer, George Zimmerman, was not held accountable for the crime that he had committed. It was a response for the anti-Black racism that still remains in our society and within the movement itself. It is a movement that goes beyond the killing of black people by police and vigilantes. It calls for the Black community to love each other, live
There are people in America that makes us wonder why there is a world to begin with. There are people who represent the greater good of the world, and there are others who are unfortunately not for the greater good of the world. We have to constantly deal with those whose only goal in life is to bring the lives of others down to the ground; to shatter and to break them. This is what is happening now in the world, and this most likely will never change. As a result of trying to change the ways in which we live and interact with these people, there was a movement that wanted to change the lives of African-Americans, as well as other races. This movement was called “Black Lives Matter”. The people who were responsible for the creation of
So in turn they 've started organizations like NAACP and Black Lives Matter Organization. NAACP’s main goal is to reach a point where they ensure a society in which all individuals have equal rights without having to deal with discrimination solely based on their race. (‘NAACP”) Along side them is the Black Lives Matter Organization which was created after the murder of Trayvon Martin. This is a call to action and a response to the virulent anti-black racism that permeates society. (“Black Lives Matter”) Both of these groups just want to have the same equality as the white folk and stop police brutality for themselves and the rest of the
However, we do have the Black Lives Matter Movement it does go against violence but it also plays a role in racism cause it mainly the color of your skin that have so many people murder, die, didn’t get justice for because we are African American which is not fair to us or what we stand for. Many disadvantages either with life or employment, education, safety it normal for African Americans to get out in the street and fight for what is right. In the passage “Racism is for Assholes Holt” stated that black and brown people built United States as a whole so for us to be treated less than what we deserve really disappointing, frustrating, make you feel less then yourself like your weak then most race when you accomplish major history events for this country. Just a few structures that African Americans invented and it feature in the article “6 Historic Structures In America Built By Slaves” not a very happy title the most historical ones is The White House, U.S. Capital Building. Now those are building for business for decisions being made in this country but no one will ever know because we don’t get credit for most work that has been in from many years
“Black Lives Matter (BLM) is a movement against police violence that is, as argued by BLM supporters, disproportionately and systematically directed at black people. The movement has highlighted incidents in which police have harassed and killed black men and women. BLM is considered one of the most visible and controversial civil rights movement of the last decades.” (Black Lives Matter. 2016) “Black Lives Matter is an American social activist organization devoted to stopping violence and injustice against African Americans. The group was founded in 2013 following the acquittal of In the sixties African Americans began a Civil Rights Movement that, to some, still continue today; hence, the Black Lives Matter movement. During the sixties, the
First off Black Lives Matter is a powerful organization that has gained national attention. The movement was started in 2012, after the death of seventeen year Trayvon Martin. A very controversial trial came about, against a police officer named George Zimmerman who had shot the young black man. The main goal of black lives matter is to prevent
As you may or may not know, there’s a heated battle going on in the United States and has been going on for many months now. The battle is between the two sayings “Black Lives Matter” and “All Lives Matter”. The two statements clash for many different reasons and the few articles I use focus on their important arguments against one another.
Black Lives Matter is an international activist movement, originating in the African American community. It campaigns against violence toward black people and has become a uniting call for an innovative chapter in the black freedom fight. The clearance of Trayvon Martin’s killer in 2013 and the killing of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri in 2014 stimulated this movement. Black Lives Matter isn’t just about the loss of Black lives; but mainly about the lack of consequences when African American lives are taken by Caucasian officers. The question is; do black lives truly matter to those that claim to protect it? The answer is no they do not because the movement’s alleged “peaceful” protests continuously
Overall, many believe that the undeviating war on racism in today’s society is fueled by police brutality and anti-police violence. Specifically, the Black Lives Matter movement, which is the source of controversy regarding these topics. To summarize, this campaign is “both a hashtag and a political project that formed after the acquittal of George Zimmerman in the 2012 killing of Trayvon Martin.” (Miller). Later in the article Chelsea Fuller, senior communications associate at The Advancement Project, a multi-racial civil rights organization, states “The Black Lives Matter movement is to deal with anti-black racism, to “push for black people’s right to live with dignity and respect” and be included in the American democracy that they helped create” (Miller).
The intentions of the All Lives Matter movement seem to be more spiteful, as opposed to helpful. Every time African Americans yell “Black Lives Matter”, outrage from other racial groups tends to emerge as they yell “All Lives Matter” back. It seems like the All Lives Matter movement is more of a tug-a-war game with Black Lives Matter, rather than an activist organization designed to bring cognizance to police abuse. If All Lives Matter is based on justice for everyone, supporters of the group would understand that African American people are treated like second class citizens in the judicial system. Therefore, the black community created Black Lives Matter to stop the United States police from murdering them.
