2 Materials:
2.1.1 Coating:
Coating is a process that used in textile to import new desirable properties in textile material. Material painted over the textile substrate. According to the Textile Institutes a coated textile can be defined as: A material composed of two or more layers, in which at least one of the layers is a textile fabric and at least one of the other layers is an extensively continuous polymeric layer.
Conductive polymer has been known to have poor process ability due to their physical and mechanical characteristics. In order to overcome this difficulty, it has to be treated with a conductive polymer.Such treatment with a conducting polymer reduces the surface resistivity to (1–104 Ω).”6”
2.2.1 Material (Graphite): Carbon atoms are the building blocks of graphite. Graphite is the most stable form of carbon under standard conditions. Graphite, is the standard state that is used in determining the heat that accompany

In the individual layer of graphite , the carbon atoms are assembled to form an honeycomb lattice with a gap of about 0.142 mm, and the average distance between planes is 0.335 NM. Graphite are found in two forms, alpha (hexagonal) and beta (rhombohedra), which share a very similar physical properties. The hexagonal graphite form which can either be flat or distorted. The alpha form can be changed to the beta form through mechanical processing and the beta form regresses to the alpha form when it is subjected to heat above 1300 °C. “7”
2.2.2 Properties:
Graphite and graphite powder are appreciated in industrial applications for their self-lubricating and dry lubricating qualities. The lubricating properties of graphite is due to its loose interlamellar coupling between sheets in its structure. Nevertheless, it has been revealed that in a vacuum environment (such as in technologies for use in space), graphite is a very poor
The first term that I noted during the movie was Conductive Polymers. Conductive polymers are almost always organic meaning a large class of chemical compounds whose molecules contain carbon. These polymers have extended delocalized bonds which are bonds found in a molecule that do not belong to a single atom or covalent bond. They are conjugated systems of double bonds and in a aromatic systems. The conjugated systems are atoms covalently bonded with alternating single and double bonds. When the electrons are removed or added into the valence bands the electrical conductivity increases. The conductive polymer has a low conductivity until the electron is removed from the valence band called (p-doping) or (n-doping) until it becomes more conductive. The movement of the charges is what is responsible for electrical conductivity. These polymers are plastic which are organic polymers and with mechanical properties such as flexibility and elasticity.
...ist must keep his tools scrupulously clean. The brushes are dipped and wiped throughout the painting session with brush cleaner to keep from contaminating colors with residue from previous paint. Use a beater rack to remove excess thinner from brushes after cleaning them.
The inks are not pure substances since the pigments get separated along the filter paper.
Typically, painters applied paint very thinly to economize, because paint was expensive. The physical characteristics of paint was not as important as the picture that the paint was used to
The Carbonization process used to create carbon fiber is called pyrolysis, which uses nitrogen gas and heat as a catalyst to increase the vibrational energy of atoms. The pyrolysis breaks the bonds between carbon atoms and nitrogen atoms as well as the bonds between carbon atoms and oxygen atoms. As a result, the polymer structures formed during cross-links stabilization is converted into hexagonal carbon structures. Non carbon atoms such as oxygen, and nitrogen are removed as gas through the atmosphere. The final carbon content is over 90 % after carbonization and the temperature range of carbonization is from 900 to 1600 °C in an inert atmosphere. Heat treatment, optimum tension, completion of the reactions, and keep the molecular orientation of the precursor fiber are vital variables to produce a crystalline structure aligned more perfectly and improve the tensile strength of the
Let it dry for 24 hours and use a new rag to buff the leather. Buffing will help eliminate any residue and polish the surface. You can opt to use a leather sheen for a shiny look.
The technique of tempera painting has been used since antiquity. The painting medium is made by mixing powdered pigments with water to create a paste and then combined with an egg yolk which is then applied to a gesso ground. This was a popular technique in Italy, it wasn’t until the 15th Century that oil paint was starting to be used. To create the paint, pigment is mixed with oil. This medium was popular in the Flanders and the Netherlands in the 13th and 14th Centuries because of oil paints range of expressive possibilities. Oil paint was slow drying and more flexible then tempera, it allowed for a detailed application of the paint which meant that the artist was able to manipulate the media to create a range of effects.
When a design is produced using the silk screening method, actual screens are used in the process. Putting it very simply, the screen is exposed using an expose unit to make a sort of stencil for the design. Ink is spread over the screen, so when you press down with a squeegee, the ink passes through to the object underneath only in the areas you want. Sadly, only one color per screen can be used so depending on how large the design is and the number of colors wanted in the design, you’ll need multiple screens to complete your design.
...pping, painting and spraying. When making things with liquid latex many layers are recommended to make it more durable. Unlike lifecasting a mold isn’t needed when using liquid latex and it can be directly applied onto the skin. Many different types of fabrics can be used with latex as well, almost any type of fabric can be used as long as the latex is sitting on top of it and its being mixed in with the different fibers in the fabric. When removing liquid later after it has been dried it can easily be peeled off, if the latex is sticking to that material applying oil or lotion to the edges makes it easier to remove.
Richard Drew wanted something for a paint job to block off a painted portion and then going onto the next section to paint. Some automotive shops usually would glue newspaper over the already painted section while some other shops used tape to prevent paint transfer. However it would often leave on the sticky residue on the paint and would be difficult to remove. They would often let the painters do the paint job all over again.
Whether you playing in a tournament or as a hobby, paintballing is a very fun sport. It is growing and becoming more popular every year. There are professional paintball teams that play in a forest for an entire day. Another way is playing indoors in a large room scattered with barricades. There are many different ways to paintball, this is the best way for beginners

There are formulas to calculate electrical conductivity and resistivity. Conductivity is defined as the inverse of resistivity (a high conductivity means a low resistance), I=V/R or current equals voltage over resistance. This is known as Ohm’s Law. Electrical resistance is calculated by the formula, R=V/I or resistance equals voltage over current. Ohm’s law however does not hold true if temperature changes. Materials that obey Ohm’s law are known as ohmic or linear because the potential difference across it varies linearly with the current. In addition, whether or not a material obeys Ohm’s law its resistance can be described in bulk resistivity. Furthermore, over sizable ranges of temperature, this temperature depe...
Civilization has brought tremendous changes in the life of human beings. All things are changing day by day through the efforts of scientific researches. Among these textiles are good example.. a dictionary definition of the noun 'textile' is a woven fabric and d defination of the verb 'to wave' is 'to make by crossing threads, strands, strips etc, above and below one another, as in a loom to form cloth'.(sheila landi1998,-10-11). Textile are remarkable and exist in many forms. they can be made from a wide range of fibers including: cotton , flax, wool, silk, acrylic and polyester. the process involved in making textiles from these fibers are diverse e.g: spinning , weaving, braiding , knotting , embroidery , dying and printing(foekje boersma 2007).
...on, by understanding the general textile manufacturing processes, we could relate the processes based on its importance and effects to the environment.
