DEFINITION OF CLOUD COMPUTING
This essay is primarily about cloud computing, including its definition, types, history, risks, disadvantages, advantages, and future impacts. Cloud computing refers to the delivery of hosted services over the internet. There are three categories of these services: Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS). Cloud service differs from traditional hosting in three ways: it is sold based on the customer's needs, it can be used as much as the customer wants, and it is completely managed by the provider. Customers can easily access the service with a personal computer and internet access. There are two types of cloud computing: public and private. Public cloud services can be bought on the internet, while private cloud services are provided by a data center that offers hosted services only to specific people. Regardless of whether it is private or public, cloud computing aims to provide easy, scalable access to computing resources and IT services.
TYPES OF CLOUD COMPUTING
Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) is the basis of cloud computing and the main layer considered. This service model brings some benefits, such as control of your applications, data, operating system, middleware, and runtime. The service provider controls the virtualization of your servers, networking, and storage. This allows you to avoid expenditure on hardware and human capital, reduces your return on investment (ROI) risk, and streamlines and automates scaling. However, a basic deficiency is the lack of extra data space for processing power on occasion. With IaaS, you only pay for what you use, which can save you money.
Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) is the second layer of cloud computing. It provides a platform for developers to build and deploy applications. PaaS offers a complete development and deployment environment in the cloud, including tools for testing, collaboration, and version control. PaaS can be used to develop web applications, mobile applications, and enterprise applications.
Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) is the third layer of cloud computing. It provides software applications over the internet. SaaS eliminates the need for customers to install and run software on their own computers. Instead, they can access the software through a web browser or mobile app. SaaS is used for a variety of applications, including email, customer relationship management (CRM), and enterprise resource planning (ERP).
ADVANTAGES OF CLOUD COMPUTING
Cloud computing offers several advantages. First, it provides easy access to computing resources and IT services. Second, it allows for scalability, which means that you can easily increase or decrease your computing resources as needed. Third, it can save you money by reducing the need for hardware and human capital. Fourth, it can improve collaboration and productivity by allowing multiple users to access the same resources and applications. Finally, it can improve security by providing centralized control and monitoring of data and applications.
DISADVANTAGES AND RISKS OF CLOUD COMPUTING
Cloud computing also has some disadvantages and risks. First, it requires a reliable internet connection. If your internet connection is slow or
The first cloud infrastructure that I would like to describe is the Platform as a Service model, also known as PaaS. The platform in PaaS describes the fact that it provides the computers operating system and hardware for the use of applications. To expand on the platform description it easier to say that a company can use this cloud infrastructure in order to run their software rather than having to buy each computer and software to run a program for each computer. A plus side of using PaaS is that new developers are able to test applications in the cloud without crashing their own computer. It is also capable of storing information on the cloud which frees up hardware storage space. The traditional type of networking where you every computer had to be networked and hardwired to each of the
As its core essences cloud computing is nothing but a specialized form of grid computing and distributing computing’s which various in terms of infrastructure , deployment, service and Geographic’s dispersion (Veeramachanenin, Sepetember 2015) the cloud enhance scalability, collaboration, availability , ability to adapt to fluctuation according to demand accelerate development work and provide optional for cost reduction and through efficient and optimized computing. (BH kawljeet, June 2015) cloud computing (CC) recently become as a new paradigm for the delivery and hosting of services our the internet. There are mainly three service delivery model Software as Service (SaaS) required software, operating system and network is provided or we can say in SaaS the customer can access the hosted software instead of installing it in local computer and the user can access these software through local computer internet browser (e.g web enabled E-mail ) the user only pay and the cloud service provider is responsible for management or control of mobile cloud infrastructure some of the company which provide such service are Google, Microsoft , Salesforce ,Facebook, etc…..Infrastructure as Service(IaaS)the cloud provider only provide some hardware resources such as network and virtualization is
Cloud computing is defined by experts as a type of computing that relies on sharing computing resources rather than having local servers or personal devices to handle applications. The meaning behind the word cloud is that it is a metaphor for the entire online web and its data as well. A cloud service differs from traditional hosting in three different ways. These three differences are that cloud computing is elastic, it is sold on demand, and the service is managed by the provider of the cloud. The easiest way to explain what cloud computing does is that it stores and gives access to different data and programs over the internet rather than just your computer’s hard drive. For it to be actually considered cloud computing it must include data or programs over the internet. Cloud computing can be done anytime, anywhere with an online connection.
These benefits do not just affect the patient, but they also affect the facilities and doctors providing care to the patient. Patients can expect better outcomes because they have faster access to specialists who can apply higher standards of care when evaluating them for various illnesses or other health conditions. Remote specialties can often determine if a patient absolutely needs to be moved to another facility or if they can stay where they are, allowing them to stay close to their personal support network. Physicians can extend their reach to patients who need their expertise but who would otherwise have missed out on this care without Telehealth. The entire healthcare system will benefit by Telehealth methods by being able to increase the number of patients while decreasing the number of clinicians needed for those
Even though cloud computing is still an emerging technology there are many benefits to our organization by adopting this technology. For instance, the reduction of operational cost, the ability to access data from any network and device, and the ability to upgrade and downgrade with ease whenever needed. Looking at the statistical data from companies that have adopted this technology, I think Partners in Heath should adopt Cloud computing. It think it is the perfect technology to solve our financial problems, as well as adding several benefits mentioned earlier.
It is made available to users over a network, normally the internet. There are three main cloud storage models: Public cloud storage is a cloud storage model that allows companies and individuals to store, edit and manage data. This is based on a remote cloud server and is accessed over the internet. The providers charge the user a set amount, where the user pays for the storage capacity being used. The storage provider hosts, manages and sources the storage infrastructure to many different users at one time.
Cloud computing is computing in which large groups of remote servers are networked to allow the centralized data storage, and online access to computer services or resources. Clouds can be classified as public, private or hybrid
A cloud application service provider gives users access to the software applications remotely via other networks if not the internet. Businesses are freed from installing and maintaining software on personal software computers. . Again, the personnel in branch or remote offices can
The use of cloud computing as the business information technology and system strategy will change the position of the business company to be better than before. The cloud is a model for delivering information technology services in which resources from the internet through web-based tools and applications, rather than a direct connection to a server. Basically, the cloud will be work remotely and it will continued allow the access as long as the electronic devices are using and connected to the web. From the use of the cloud computing, it is a really cheap way for companies especially Faiza Sdn Bhd to have all the resources they need in once place. It’s a much better way to spread their resources, and it becomes easier to access things from longer distances.
“Cloud computing is a type of computing that relies on sharing computing resources rather than having local services or personal devices to handle applications. The cloud, is used as a metaphor for ‘the internet,’ so the phrase cloud computing means ‘a type of Internet-based computing,’ where different services-such as servers, storage and applications- are delivered to an organization’s computers and device through the Internet. Cloud computing is comparable to grid computing, a type of computing where unused processing cycles of all computers in a network are harnesses to solve problems too intensive for any stand-alone machine (Web 2.0).” Whereas “Web 2.0 is the term given to describe a second generation of the World Wide Web that is focused on the ability for people to collaborate and share information online. Web 2.0 basically refers to the transition from static HTML Web pages to a more dynamic Web that is more organized and is based on serving Web applications to users.
The term "the cloud" is essentially a metaphor for the Internet] Marketers have further popularized the phrase "in the cloud" to refer to software, platforms and infrastructure that are sold "as a service", i.e. remotely through the Internet. Typically, the seller has actual energy-consuming servers which host products and services from a remote location, so end-users don't have to; they can simply log on to the network without installing anything. The major models of cloud computing service are known as software as a service, platform as a service, and infrastructure as a service. These cloud services may be offered in a public, private or hybrid network. Google, Amazon, IBM, Oracle Cloud, Salesforce, Zoho and Microsoft Azure are some well-known cloud vendors.
Several types of cloud storage systems have been developed to supporting both personal and business uses. Cloud storage also a model of networked enterprise storage where the data is stored not only in the user's computer, but also in virtualized of storage, which generally hosted by third parties company.
When they wanted to save photos online instead of on your personal computer, they are able to use “cloud computing” service. Cloud computing means that the transfer of computing data or information over the internet. Not just to keep data in your personal computer, they are able to save the data on internet server to open their data in any computer. In this report we will walk through about what is cloud computing, what kinds of model did cloud computing have, types of cloud computing, benefits of cloud computing, and security.
I would picture this kind of scenario is like having a walking hard disk all the time with you.
Cloud computing are functions that are provided as a service. Cloud computing is a form where Input and Output(I/O) operations take place in terminal device such as workstations, smartphones, tablets. However, information analysis, processing, storage, management and distribution of operations takes place in the third space called the cloud. Software and data are typically stored on the server in the cloud. However, the users only have their device as temporary storage for the duration of use. Most users can use the cloud service over the internet using the browser such as Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, and Safari without understanding about technology infrastructure. Cloud service is an on-demand service used to satisfy the user.
