The Effects of Climate Change within Our World Today
Thesis: For the past 50 years, climate has been changing rapidly, this we cannot disregard; consequently, in order to lessen the consequences, our society should be educated on effects it has.
I. The loss of polar ice cap is one of the major factors contributing to climate changes.
A. Greenhouse gas plays a major role in climatic changes.
B. The heat content of the oceans is growing and growing.
II. Intense heat waves have been gradually increasing in occurrence, and have been negatively affecting Earth’s overall temperature.

Believe it or not climate change has been affecting the world’s economy in recent years. Lately, climate changes have been digging into the pockets of our government, by throwing a variety of natural disaster on our lands. When hurricane Sandy made landfall in the U.S. and in the Caribbean in October 2012, it cost millions of people and billions of dollars, worth of economic resources to the sorts of hazards that might be expected to intensify because of climate change. In a report given by Diana Liverman and Amy Glasmeier on April 22, 2014, an estimated 1.8 million structures and homes were destroyed or damaged, with losses exceeding $65 billion. Also, rising ocean temperatures have weakened economically valuable salmon species, reducing the survival rates of spawning fish. With the demand increasing and the supply decreasing due to near extinction of the species, it has diminished the exports of these of these foods from countries such as Canada and the U.S. Therefore, activities like these are showing how climate change the global economy has taken a huge dent. Conversely, if we don’t heed to the warnings aforementioned, then, the impacts with grow higher by affecting supply chains, consumer behaviors, employment, and regional economies
