Recommended: Global warming and human activity

Research question: To what extent will humans be affected by increasing temperature?

Introduction
Hong Kong nowadays has a major problem on global warming due to climate change. Climate problems may not take up any awareness among people in today’s society. Humans are responsible for many of the climate problems we are facing. Climate changes naturally and the current trend of global warming started before the industrial revolution. Before the climate change the climate was a lot warmer. Weather and temperature could be one of the major issues that affects global warming and climate change.

Global temperatures
Global warming has increased the average temperature of the world, because of this; glaciers are melting, oceans are warming and becoming more acidic, the sea level will increase too this is because ice caps are melting and the sea absorbs heat, neither more nor less this will have a negative effect on climate change. Climate changes across space and time, so climate takes a long time to be explored and to discover. The normal preference of climate change depends on different climate scientists. Before thermometers were invented, to understand how climate varies across time, scientists used three kinds of equipment to find the climate data. The types of equipments were observations, historical accounts, and environmental evidence locked up in fossils and ice cores. There are slight differences in global records between different climate groups that are calculating and recording data because they all have a slightly different formula or using different techniques. Personal Response
I have learnt quite a lot throughout studying this topic. I’ve learnt that there are lots of ways that could affect climate change. At the same time, different conditions and diseases/ illnesses of humans could also make a big difference to the climate. There are still a large problem on global warming and climate change. I believe that we can make a difference; we can start changing and start to take action on what we are going to do to save our planet. Helping is one solution to get rid or minimize global warming and face the reality of life.

I conclude that it is quite urgent to change our way of living. I need to take responsibility - use less electricity and find more solutions to save our world. If I don’t want to suffer then I need to take some action and need to change my habits for future generations.
