There are many interesting and amazing creatures on earth but the best by far is the chupacabra. But sadly not many people know the truth about it. This paper will discuss where the chupacabra lives, what it looks like, what it does and how it does it , how many different types are there, and what evidence is there supporting its existence. So what is the chupacabra. Where does the chupacabra live? The chupacabras location is one of the few things about the chupacabra that most people will be able to agree on. Robert Carroll an author of The Skeptic's Dictionary wrote: The chupacabra ("goat sucker") is an animal said to be unknown to science and systemically killing animals in places like Puerto Rico, Miami, Nicaragua, Chile, and Mexico. The creature's name originated with the discovery of some dead goats in Puerto Rico with puncture wounds in their necks and their blood allegedly drained(Carroll). Most other sources will agree that the chupacabra lives in the Southern United States of America, Mexico, The Caribbean and other parts of southern North America. What does the chupacabra look like? The chupacabra is most commonly described as a doglike creature …show more content…
There has been hundreds of chupacabra sightings in the recent past. Some of the most recent were just a few month ago in Texas. A couple has in texas has recently captured a living chupacabra. The couple caught it in a live box trap and there is a short news segment on youtube and many other sites that talk about it. The couple has has sent hair and other samples to many different zoologists and other professionals but they are still awaiting confirmation on what it is. Some of the results have been returned but they do not match with any other animal(Sighting). But This was not the only time something like this has appended there have been many other chupacabras that were killed and captured on video. In another case the cryptozoo website reports on a
The gorillas live mainly in coastal West Africa in the Congo, Zaire, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea and Cameroon. Gorillas live in the rain forest. They usually live on the ground but build nest in trees to sleep in. Gorilla troops keep a 15-20 square mile range which often overlaps the range of other troops. There are three different kinds of gorillas. The eastern lowland gorilla the western lowland and the mountain gorilla. Incisivosaurus Gauthier was what is believed to be a primitive Oviraptorosaurian that was recently discovered in China. The Theropod and its highly specialized skull is described as a bizarre creature that lived 128 million years ago (Gee). The characteristic that “sticks out” the most are it’s rodent-like teeth. Harry Gee has described the dinosaur as “a [cross between] Roadrunner [and] Bugs Bunny” (Ibid.) and Hillary Mayell calls it a “’Weird’ Bucktoothed Dino.” (Mayell)
Bigfoot is, without a doubt, the most recognized mystery in all of North America. The apelike being has reportedly been sighted thousands of times since the beginning of the 19th century. According to eyewitness testimonies, Bigfoot, also known as Sasqautch, is a gigantic beast that towers in at eight feet tall and weighs as much as six hundred pounds. Reports also say that the monster’s form is well built and usually covered in a thick, brownish fur. Many have asked if such a creature could possibly be roaming through the wilderness of North America and around the world, and the answer is yes. The amount of evidence supporting such a creature’s existence is astonishing. From footprint casting and fur samples to video evidence and numerous human sightings, Bigfoot’s existence cannot be doubted.
Arthur Grant, a veterinary student in 1934, was heading home around 1 A.M. He saw something lurking in the bushes, and it immediately bounded onto the road. He swerved and stepped on the brakes, barely missing contact. The headlight was on the 20 foot long creature that had an eel-like head and large humps on its shoulders. What is this creature? Does it even exist? These are the questions many cryptozoologists ask on a daily basis. Cryptozoology is the search for and study of animals whose existence is disputed. While many disregard cryptids, the term for these mysterious animals, there are scientists committed to finding the truth. Though there are many fascinating creatures in this field, the three most news-worthy are the Loch Ness monster, Bigfoot and Dracula.
This provides powerful insight into the role Bigfoot like creatures played in Native American cultures. Some tribes were not afraid of the creatures, considering them kind and helpful, while peacefully coexisting with them. Other tribes found them to be more violent and dangerous creatures. The fact that these tribes called the animals Stick Indians or Brush Indians seems to suggest that the creatures were simply other tribes they did not get along with opposed to a village of mythical creatures. Some examples of Bigfoot like creatures in Native American tribes include the Chiye – Tanka, the Lofa, the Maxemista, and the popular Sasquatch. The Chiye – Tanka was the Bigfoot like creature of the Sioux Indians (“Native American,” n.d.). This animal
In order to prove to everyone this creature is real, stories should be told in order to persuade them. The first sightings of this creature started around 1995, when a man was noticing his animals acting strange on his farm in Puerto Rico. He really didn’t understand why they were acting strange that night, although they seemed very afraid of something. The next morning he woke up to find his two goats dead, and the next couple nights he began his search for what has done it. One night he saw a creature that was the perfect description of what is known as the Chupacabra today. The name Chupacabra literally means “goat-sucker” so from that day on the search had began and is still continuing in Central America and even the US (“Unique Facts about Mexico: Chupacabra”). This is just one of the countries that have been affected by this animal and something tells me it isn’t going to be the last.
The wolverine (Gulo gulo) which means glutton is a member of the mustelid’s. Wolverines can be found in remote reaches of Northern boreal forests, the subarctic and the alpine tundra. There are millions of wolverines throughout the world making them least concerned on their conservation status. The biome they live in is the coniferous forest. They choose to live in this biome because of the warm summers and cool winters with adequate rainfall. The wolverine is known to be a powerful, aggressive and very territorial. They are also very efficient scavengers with strong teeth and muscles that allow them to rip through frozen bone and flesh. Wolverines live in dens around the world from the US to Europe, Russia, and Siberia and mainly in Northern Canada.
It is an unexplainable mystery that is said to live in the wilderness of Washington State. It is a cryptozoological creature that
Ocelots mainly live in the jungles of South America and small numbers like in the deep south of North America around southern Texas and northern Mexico. In some parts of the U.S. coyotes are called "brush wolves.” Wolves are much larger and hunt in packs.
