Choreographers’ Showcase Critique During the show was appreciated various choreographic styles with a dramatic or soft performance, different musical rhythms, and cultural implications. Throughout the show the dancers’ movements excelled with professionalism and the elements, such as the light effects and the costume’s details, enhanced the choreographies. However, in all these factors mentioned above, helped to communicate the choreographers' intention on the meaning of the dance. At the beginning of Choreographers' showcase, the first dance was entitled Holding On from the choreographer Nicholas Granavel. In this choreography involved seven dancers where the women were wearing white dresses and men only wears white pants, which could reflect purity or serenity in the dance. There are three dancers, two women and a man, in a triangle floor pattern. After a while, the rest of the dancers appeared from the corners of the stage and suddenly they turned around, looking to the right side of the stage while walking slowly several steps forward and then walking several steps backwards while keep looking straight ahead. At the end of the Holding On, from having a light blue effect on the background’s scenario, it came to have a mild action or speed light effect when a brief red light was added along with the blue. In the second dance of Choreographers’ Showcase, was entitled Miss Minnie from the choreographer Elizabeth Reyes. Unlike Hold On, the choreography of Miss Minnie presents a musical rhythm
