Crimes committed by a mad mind are without a doubt all over the world, but that is not what we should be worried about, because as widely known, adults go through excruciating consequences. What we really should be worried about is children committing crimes in public streets. Those crimes however are not given the significance they deserve, in which it is up to the police officer to decide if the committed crime is worth enough to file a case to juvenile courts. Furthermore, the juvenile court will put the criminal, in this case a child, to face justice. What is juvenile court’s justice? As astonishing as it may be, the worst-case scenario is rehabilitation for a short while, is that solution enough to eliminate crimes on the streets done by clueless children? In which society assumes that if a child performs a crime hence, it is insignificant. No matter what the criminal’s identity is, the act of the crime however is still there. For the most part, children committing crimes led to the existence of juvenile courts. On the contrary, juvenile courts are not putting an end to such crimes, in which they are too forgiving. As a result, children are not afraid of the consequences they will face after committing a crime. For example, the only consequence faced by a child could be a simple fine. This results with children getting away easily from the crime they have just committed. Furthermore, the penalties juveniles face are all decided by a police officer. Which to be real, all ends up to being a matter of the police officer’s personal preference to which if the crime is of such importance to have a case filed to juvenile courts in its regard.
