However, there are many social disparities that affect the child politically,emotionally,physically,mentally and demographically. However, for mandated reporters there is a different hotline verse a non mandated reporter Another reporting system such as the facsimile which is provided by the children’s service agencies is a written report that must be submitted within 48 hours (NY Social Services Law, Section 415). The child’s personal information needs to be documented and also the Central Register form needs to have a validated reason for neglect or abuse by the mandated reporter. Researchers indicated that child has been minimally represented and the investigation process is determined by an adult and other officials (Wiley&Sons2005). Researchers used documents, conferences and interviews to measure the participation of children's decisions concerning placement. Researchers selected 89 families, 21 were children in protective conferences, 7.85% are none professionals, average age, 6.59%,out of 87 children,47 were females and 51.4 were males. The case students showed (38.4%) were neglected, (28.6%) was physically abused, (20.5%) emotionally abused and (9.2%) were sexually abused.In conclusion, 52 Social workers had a section for child participation of 28.1% and 44 social workers completed the section and 35 children with a 18.9% decision was included. Other professional participants such as, nurses,school staff were extremely low.
