Natalie lives with her mother, Rachel, her father, Paul, and her baby sister of 10 months Katie. Rachel is a housewife and does not have a job outside the home, but is planning to go back when both children go to school. Paul is a full time self-employed joiner working 8:00-6:00, but helps around the house and with the children on a morning, night and weekends.
They live in a large bungalow on a small poultry farm in quiet village in North Yorkshire. They have a large grassed garden at both front and back of the house. There garden has a well built up fence that Natalie can’t get out of they also have a garden gate that is always locked so her garden is very safe. In the garden Natalie has a small swing that Natalie loves to play on, she also loves to play in her sand pit in the summer. She also has many toys and tricycles in the garden.
Rachel and Paul often take Natalie to the river to feed the ducks,
which is just beside their house, Natalie herself takes great care
when near the river.
Natalie also enjoys taking her dog “scruffy” for walks with her
parents around the farm and fields. Her nursery is only 3 miles away
and goes they’re twice a week on the mornings .She also visits her
grandparents at least once a week and gets to stay over night.
Natalie’s bedroom is very bright and colourful with a “winnie the
pooh” theme. She has her own bed with a bed protector, which stops her
from falling out. Natalie has many different toys in her bedroom, she
has a little house and her mini kitchen she loves you to come in to
her house and eat her “food”. The rest of her house of her house very
safe as there is baby as well. She also has ma...

... of black shiny shoes the first words Natalie said to me was “ do you
like my new shoes Helen?” I told her they were lovely and she started
dancing in them to show them off. Rachel told her to take them off,
she did and undone her Velcro strap using her finger tips (fine motor
skills), she then placed near the front. I was surprised how Natalie
cared for her shoes and she had seemed to have matured a little since
I last visited Natalie as she was caring how things looked and she was
doing things for herself which Rachel would do usually.

The youngest sister, Joyce Ann isn't really mentioned except when Jesse tries to push May Belle to her so she'll leave him alone and when Jesse's mother yells at him because of her. Jesse's hobbies are his art and running. Before Leslie moved in, his best friend seemed to be Miss Bessie, the cow. She would watch him run every morning. Leslie's family on the other hand is actually rich.

Marie’s grandparent’s had an old farm house, which was one of many homes in which she lived, that she remembers most. The house was huge, she learned to walk, climb stairs, and find hiding places in it. The house had a wide wrap around porch with several wide sets of stairs both in front and in back. She remembers sitting on the steps and playing with one of the cats, with which there was a lot of cats living on the farm...

Each house has two floors, one garage, and enough space for a garden and small lawn in the front. It’s almost like they were all made with the same cookie cutter template. You can really only tell who lives where by seeing what the garden looks like.

Observation is important as the practitioner can find out what the child is interested in and what motivates them to learn alongside their progress and how they behave in certain situations, additionally at the same time it identifies if children need assistance within certain areas of learning or socially (DCSF, 2008). Furthermore the observations check that the child is safe, contented, healthy and developing normally within the classroom or early years setting, over time the observations can be given to parents as they show a record of progress which helps to settle the parent and feel more comfortable about their child’s education. Observations are not only constructive within learning about an individual child, they can be used to see how different groups of children behave in the same situation and how adults communicate and deal with children’s behaviour (Meggitt and Walker, 2004). Overall observations should always look at the positives of what children can complete within education and not look at the negatives and all observations should become a fundamental part of all practitioners work alongside reflection (Smidt, 2009).
The house is big, beautiful, and always decorates the way a house would be. Nora has a nurse to take care of the kids so she will have time to cook and clean. Torvald has a good job lined up to take care of his family. Their kids have
The students that I observed in the classroom were of middle to high school. I went to see 8th, freshman, 10th , and seniors classes, they seemed excited and very curious to why I was there. The middle school was more alive and rambunctious while I observed them. The High school kids were more relaxed, more comical. Some were paying attention while others seemed tuned out to the lecture or involved in socialization with friends within the class. By the end of the class Mr. Hasgil had restored the attention of everyone by using tactics such as history jeopardy with candy as the prize with the high school kids. In both he middle school and high school the kids were mostly Caucasian with a mixture of black, Asian , and Hispanic in the classes.
