The main character in Charlottte's Web would be Wilbur the pig. The pig was very important in the book, without the pig
they would've never been able to win the prize at the caravial. Wilbur was a very special pig. He could talk, and he
was Fern's bestfriend. In relaity the pig would not be believeable. Not any pig around here can talk or do some of the
things Wilbur was able to do. I don't think Wilbur reacted the way I would. He was a humble person and didn't know how to
come about some things. I'm an all open person and can talk to anyone. I would say the antagonist in this book would have to be
the dad. At the beginning of the story the dad wanted to kill the pig for being to little. Although Fern was...

judges mind. After this Charlotte won and was ready to compete again. My faviorte quote from the book is " The pig couldn't
help being born small, could it? If I had been born very small would you have kill me? " You can find this quote on page 3.
I would recommend this book for anyone to read. It's a great story and can show anyone a lesson. I really liked it! It
teaches a lesson. It shows that just because you might be small doesn't mean you can't do everything everyone else does. Even if
it may be a childrens book everyone should take the time to read it.
This is my summary of Charlotte's Web. I hope you enjoyed it so much that you have thought about reading it yourself.
I know im glad I took the time out of my day to read it. I hope you do to.
Teitz explains that the living spaces for the pigs are so small that they will trample each other to death, and piglets are unintentionally smashed by their mothers. Teitz asserts that, not only are the living spaces small, but they...
I think that the messages this book displays are important for anyone to think about, and apply to their lives every day.
Tony that “life is filled with sadness when a boy grows to be a man. But as you grow
My overall opinion of this book is good I really liked it and recommend it to anyone. It is a good book to read and it keep you interested throughout the whole book.
Piggy is lower class. Later on in the book it shows that Piggy is
Piggy's literal function in this novel is to be the intellectual and logical thinker to counteract the emotional thinking of the other boys. From the beginning, Piggy viewed everything logically. He quickly came to the realization that the boys may be on the island for a long time, when he told Ralph "Nobody don't know we're here. Your dad don't know, nobody don't know" (9), contrary to Ralph's assumption that his father, who happened to be a naval officer, would simply come and rescue them. While Ralph became the natural leader based on his charisma, "what intelligence had been shown was traceable to Piggy" (18/19). However, it is unfortunate that this intelligence eventually led Piggy to his demise. Piggy's direct way of analyzing a situation and voicing his opinion tended to make him quite un...
They started out not very trusting Mr.Pignati, but then they found out he wasn’t such a bad guy. They started to visit him more often and became good friends with him. They went shopping and to the zoo and played memory games with each other. They went roller balding together and Mr.
Piggy was a moral person and an uncorrupted person for his time on the island. he was moral because he believed in guidelines and weighed each decision he made with what the rest of society would say. He was moral because of this and never would he stray from what was moral or good in society so he would be mostly correct. Piggy had very strong ideas. when everyone else was starting out on the island, the rest of the worlds rules were with them. everyone slowly was drawn away from
the pig but a much more blood-thirsty one that only wants to kill and not be
Piggy, a fat boy who knows a lot, is the most important character in the novel. Piggy remains helpless with absolutely no one accepting. Piggy is the only one in the group who signifies intelligence, bravery and maturity. Throughout the book. Golding makes us aware how intelligent Piggy is by showing he knows everything like he’s a God. He acts mature when he has to and lastly he follows the orders and influence others to follow the order.
Because his father was moving around cause of military dues he attended Central High School in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated from there in 1929. He first went to college at Western Reserve University for one year then moved to go to the University of Chicago. But he still wanted to be a military pilot so he contacted the only black serving in the congress and he got him a spot at West Point in New York. But at the school he faced challenges no one in at the school would talk to him, sit with him and eat, and no one was his roommate. But he graduated 35th in his class of 278. After that he got second lieutenant he became one of only 2 every black officers in the army the other one being his father.
Piggy - Piggy is an eager, chubby kid, who likes to poke his nose where it doesn’t belong. Piggy is the only one on the island that wears glasses to aid his vision, and seems to be a character easily disliked because of his babyish personality. Although he is one of the most rational and logical thinkers, his ideas are seldom heeded, mainly because of his persistent whining. Piggy has asthma, and this makes it difficult for him to work. Ralph, being the first to meet Piggy, became his guardian, and protector from the other children’s cruelty on the island.
Friendship and loyalty can be evident in both Charlotte's Web and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Animals and human are indistinguishable. A black creepy spider forms a parallel relationship to Fern's love with Wilbur the pig. When Fern's family sold the pig to another family, Wilbur longs for Fern's friendship. A spider is able to fulfill that need. The spider name Charlotte is very motherly, loyal and friendly to Wilbur. Wilbur feels comfortable in the farm, despite the fact that he grew up in a house with human love and care. Fern experiences similar difficulties as Wilbur. Her mother sees a doctor because Fern was spending too much time in the farm with Wilbur. Fern is able to outgrow the relationship she had with Wilbur, by forming
The characters that made an impact in the story of Romeo and Juliet and “Animal Farm” are the nurse and squealer the pig. These two characters played a big role in the play based on their social class in the setting of the story. There are many important life lessons that people can learn from both of these characters.
us to our conclusions as adults and as children. This is where Charlotte's Web comes into effect. One could conclude this story has remained a children's classic over the last four and a half decades because society can still relate to it as a whole ... not very much has changed.
