Charles Manson Thesis Statement

There is a common saying something good comes out of everything. But how could this possibly apply to everything. Well if you can’t see it on the surface then you have to look deeper. Charles Manson, if you are familiar with the name then you may have felt instant hate, sorrow, or interest. This man may have changed history, he turned up soil that had never been tread, he sent a fear though thousands of people that paralyzed them until the case was closed. In this story I challenge you to look at it from a different perspective and try to see the good from the bad. Charles Milles Maddox also known as wild-eyed Manson had an occupation of murder and was the leader of a cult but he was also an inspiration to many young adults in the early 60’s.

Neither county police department really wanted to take responsibility for law enforcement in the area, so nobody kept an eye on Manson. Charles never let his family watch television or listen to the radio, which people say now, is the cause of what happened. Manson’s hard-core followers began to believe, without question, Manson’s claims that he was Jesus and his prophecies of a race war. Manson believed that there was still a tension between the blacks and whites and that would erupt into a cataclysmic race war ending in the slaughter of nearly all the white people. He called this doomsday “helter skelter.” His belief stated that while in the mist of these masseurs he and his family would stowaway in a deep hole in Death Valley. Upon the war’s end, the group would rise from the desert and rule the victorious blacks, whom Manson thought would be incapable of governing themselves. The phrase "POLITICAL PIGGY" is scrawled in blood on his wall. This man was feared by many and had control over peoples minds. Security systems doubled is sales; and people started taking extra care to lock their doors and turn their lights off. You could ask probably anyone who lived then and they would say they whished that that never had happened. That the name Charles Manson had never existed. Not many people would look for the good this man
