Charles Manson and the Manson Family Charles Manson was born on November 12, 1934. His parents were Walter Scott and Kathleen Maddox, but shortly after, his stepdad, William Manson, adopted him. Charles Manson has three children. Charles Milles Manson, Jr., Charles Luther Manson, and Valentine Michael. Charles Manson was married twice, first with Rosalie Jean Willis then, later, with Candy Stevens. Charles Manson is currently imprisoned for life because he and his “Family” were accused of the horrific murders of the Tate and LaBianca families. The same goes for the “talks” Manson would have with them where he told his “family” what is true in the world and what is false.. Thoughts can be controlled by whoever is around you enough and is strong enough in their own beliefs, which in this case was Charles Manson. Last is emotional control, which was influenced by mainly by intimacy with most of the manson family. Within the first day that Charles Manson met Dianne Lake they slept together and she asked her parents for permission to live with him which they easily granted her. Charles Manson's twisted history began when he was just a boy, being tossed around in foster homes and in all boys schools, he eventually rebelled and at the age of nine burnt down a school. Influenced by his uncles quote "we are all just rebels, rebels till the end of time" he stuck to that growing up, stealing and vandalizing by the age of thirteen. Now as a juvenile he was in and out of jail, much like his foster homes. With such anger built up towards his mother, Manson said his mother only showed him how much she resented him.
