Lev is one of those characters who doesn’t get enough credit. He came from a religious tithe to a strong and wise young man. I mean I know I couldn’t change in 2 months like that. I think Lev is overlooked because he was missing for a big part of the book. I hope this essay explains the traits of Lev and convinces you that he has a big impact on the book. I believe one of the strongest traits Lev has is him being committed. I mean he was kidnapped and he didn't snitch when he had the chance. This leads me to believe that he was committed to Connor and Risa. When Cy-Ty was begging the Man and Woman to not unwind him, Lev forced them to by threatening them with a shovel.
