Cedella Marley is multitalented as she is a singer, dancer, fashion designer, entrepreneur and actress. Cedella Marley was born on 23 August 1967 in Kingston the capital of Jamaica. By her last name, Marley, she is the daughter of the famous and legendary Jamaican reggae musician Bob Marley and Rita Marley. She is the eldest among all her sisters.

Cedella Marley was born on August 23, 1967 and is the first daughter of Bob Marley, and also his first child with his fellow Jamaican singer Rita Marley. She became the vocalist of their family bands Ziggy Marley and Melody Makers. She had several siblings which included Ziggy Marley, Sharon Marley and Stephen Marley but others were not of the same mother since their father was notorious for having children with many women.
She was brought up under strict rule even though she was born of an aristocratic lifestyle; she went to a catholic boarding school. In 1993 she got married to Davido Minto. In this marriage they got three children, two teenage sons, Soul Rebel and Skip and their last born son Saiyan. Currently, Cedella Marley and her husband and three sons live in Miami, Florida.

And is a record label that serves various Jamaican artists which includes Bob Marley’s sons. Jamaica is a small island in the Caribbean, however it is the largest English-speaking country in the Caribbean. Jamaica has many traditions and lifestyles, but two of them are music industry and sport. In the music industry, you will find many music legends, and one of them is Robert Nesta Marley (Bob Marley). Marley is a Jamaican born musician, known for his reggae. He was born in 1945 and died at the age of 36, in 1981. Bob Marley & The Wailers’ most famous song is “Sun is shining” and it is a reggae soundtrack. I find the music industry very interesting because it has soundtracks to various movements in Jamaica, such as Rastafari. Rastafari is an Afro-Caribbean political and spiritual movement, that found place in the 1930s in Jamaica.

Throughout his short life Bob Marley was able to contribute a great deal with his reggae music, and throughout all the time he has been gone people still use his music as a measuring stick for all other reggae music. This was because during his time as an artist he was able to create a type of reggae music that was not heard before in Jamaica, or any part of the world for that matter. The 1970’s was when Bob Marley & The Wailers started releasing his popular music, primarily his album Exodus, and increased the popularity of Rastafarianism though the high vibe he created with the mix of reggae, soul, and blues.
