I wanted to create a marketing mix for the proposed cattle fountain. This will help you define your marketing options in terms of product, place, price and promotion – also known as the four P’s in marketing. We already know what type of product you are wanting to get into, cattle fountains, but there are factors to consider when engineering the prototype. How much capital do we want from each cattle fountain used? How will the advertising department promote this product? Who will they be promoting it too? These are all questions that are answered by developing a marketing mix. The product is the heart of the marketing mix. From what I have researched, there are several different styles of cattle fountains out there. We want to manufacture …show more content…
Like every other aspect to the marketing mix, there are factors that need to be considered. How are you going to get across to your target market? As I mentioned earlier, we want to target the smaller farms and ranches. We need to consider what would be the best way to advertise. Whether it be by advertising online, on TV, radio or billboards. With this target market, I believe advertisement on the radio, adds in the newspaper and in farm magazines would help get this product out successfully. When we get a dealer interested in selling the fountain, we will send brochures and information to them so it is readily available to the customer if a question comes up or they show interest in the product. As I mentioned earlier, it is important to promote your products at local tradeshows and farming conventions so potential customers can visually see the product and ask questions about it. This is a product that will be in more of a demand in the summer months so we will want to push all advertising and promoting at that time of year. It will be much more beneficial to the company to advertise the cattle fountain in the hot June, July, and August months then it would be to do so in December or January. This product will be a great attribute to the company and bring a lot of revenue if these guidelines are set in
In "The Cowboy and His Cow" speech, Edward Abbey delivered a furious talk based on his personal experience.Abbey began by talking about the childhood dream of becoming a cowboy, so consistently I expected him to write about how and why the cowboy is a child's legendary hero and how a child idolizes them for all the kindness they appear to do. Instead, Abbey began tearing down the praised cowboy by making the people realize the issues that the cowboys and their cattle have brought.
The 4 Ps of the marketing mix are: Product, Promotion, Price, and Place. The marketing mix puts the right products, at the right price point, in the right place, at the right time. The following examines how Claire’s Chocolates optimizes its marketing mix (Yoo, Donthu, & Lee, 2000, 195-196).
Once the target market has been identified it is important to develop a marketing strategy. In today's fast paced, information overloaded society; conveying a message about a product seems to be more difficult than ever. The consumer is bombarded with advertising everywhere they look. Today advertising not only exists on television, radio, magazines, and newspapers, it can be found on billboards, park benches, in our mailboxes, on buses, taxis, at sporting events, and on clothing.
When a business aims to be as successful as possible in selling its products and services, it must examine in detail whether or not the products will be attractive and necessary; if the price is optimal; if the product is being distributed in the best locations; and finally, how interest and awareness can be created for the products. In order for a business to target all of these elements at the right people at the right time, it must employ the right type of marketing mix: Product, Price, Place and Promotion.
The marketing mix, which is basic to any organization, can be considered the ‘controllable’ variables that every business encounters. These controllable variables can be modified based on the uncontrollable variables (external factors found in Environmental Scan) that directly affect business operations. A company focuses on four elements in the marketing mix: Product, Price, Place, and Promotion, which are managed and coordinated through marketing programs in efforts to appeal to their target market. Marketers strive to understand what motivates consumers to purchase certain products. The marketing mix helps to break down some of these questions: What will consumers buy? How much will they spend? Where will they buy? And will they buy again?
The marketing mix refers to the set of actions, or tactics, that a company uses to promote its brand of products in the market. Price, Product, Promotion and Place, are known as the 4Ps that make up a typical marketing mix. As marketing evolves, there are additional Ps that can also be included in the marketing mix, however, focusing on the 4 core Ps of the marketing mix, price, place, promotion and Product, taking an in-depth look at the aspects of Victoria’s Secret in general and in terms of the selected product. All the elements of the marketing mix influence each other. They contribute to the business plan for a company and if managed correctly, can give it a great success. In order to successfully master marketing mix, it needs understanding,
Although there are local stations that could potentially reach the target market, these consumers do not tend to utilize this media channel very frequently due to their active and busy lifestyles. Further, the price of using this strategy would be prohibitive when compared to other strategies that have a higher potential of drawing consumers in the local area. SNHU Pet Supply Store should focus the strategy for Farm to Bowl on a local promotion that spotlights the product features. That being said, this approach may warrant consideration as the product expands into a larger geographic
Animal imagery is the most prevalent type of imagery throughout the entire play, with various different beasts used to describe and attribute key characters in the tragedy. It is the easiest and most convenient form of imagery, as animalistic traits can easily be projected onto people. This kind of imagery is often used to describe the natures of Goneril and Regan, and their conniving and vicious actions. Animals such as vultures or serpents are most commonly used to describe Goneril and Regan because of their greed and selfishness, and how these animals are commonly used to embody these traits: “Looked black upon me, struck me with her tongue / Most serpentlike upon the very heart” (II.iv.181-182). These comparisons are vital to the characters
A marketer doesn’t just have a plan. Marketers now open up to a wider strategic plan and it’s based on steps that balance out what the market is offering consumers. These marketers must analyze their production with these steps, then make a portfolio of the growth and even their down falls therefore this keeps these marketers to continuously innovate and create even a greater amount of value for their customers. Marketing management functions are discussed along with the marketing mix and strategy.
...other way for us to introduce our product can be through the car rental industry. We can use our salesforce to make calls to corporate offices in the snow-belt. Since our product is going to be very inexpensive, we can offer the company some samples. If all goes well, we will then negotiate a price to have Tiger Tread available to all of their customers. This would be a great way for the car rental companies to up-sell the product as well as a great way for us to introduce the product to households. Overall it would be a win-win for us and the car rental company.
C1 Marketing Strategy requires Research to find out. Customer Requirements – Is there a market for liqueur ice creams? The Right Products to Develop to Meet Customer Needs – Which? liqueurs would the consumer’s prefer/buy the most? Which product variation is preferred to be used?
Overall, these are all marketing strategies that can be utilized both locally, and on a larger scale. Two additional factors must also be considered when using effective marketing strategies. Determining areas where marketing will be most effective, as well as methods to organize and keep track of existing, and new clientele are imperative to successful

Domestication of cattle occurred in two regions, the Near East and the Indian subcontinent around 10,500 BP.
