First, the Catholic Church’s institutional model today would fail, because people have evolved and experienced the freedoms and knowledge, that was controlled before, but the Church could grow following Jesus model as a servant. Some have blended away from the traditions and the guidelines of before, because they have invested into materialism, or the consumeristic traditions created by society. As we are told in many Bible verses not to worship false Idols, or like Matthew 6:24 tells us, we can only serve God and becoming invested in the love of money will result in hating God (KJV). The people of today are much different and more educated, compared to those who were under strong Church traditions, because in that type of society people’s freedoms become more invasive. Going back to those types of strict guidelines by the Church and State as combined powers over the people, would become a major problem for the majority, so a more accepting and more caring type of ecclesiology that promotes strong family values. By, following Jesus model of teaching our family to be “devout and God-fearing,” help those less fortunate and keep a relationship with God, therefore others outside the religion will realize how loving and caring Christians are (KJV). In order for the Church to stay relevant with common issues, to include family structure, they must “continually labor” to be the sign from God (Dulles 106). Even investing into the communities with those minorities, who’s family stability is in question, people need hope and help to see God’s plan. In many ways, the Catholic Church focused on the institutional model while establishing the many communities around the world, which still brought about a very large following of Christian. Due to times being different, those people needed a strong Church, but like those who lived in exile under Pharaoh rule, more is needed like signs from God. People hear the word God being used many times throughout the day, but people need to be aware of the god being used. Our society has become so open that even a “city council meeting” are praying to Satan, during their opening prayer in Florida (Blake). People being so distant and involved in such spiritual enlightenment created by the evil one, also leads people to hate each other, the Bible, and God. So, this may seem like a perfect situation for an institutional Church for keeping evil out of the community, however the Church can become a tool for evil as well. Questioning old tradition and creating a relationship with Jesus Christ, showing his blessing to those people of today. A miracle for all to see that God’s Church still lives amongst this
