Background: Patients in ICU are severely ill by which the cares in this unit are intensive and require intensive observation. ICU nurses have caring competence to provide care for patients with threatening medical conditions. By that, the nurses are obliged to develop the attitude and behavior of caring to comprehend and provide better supports that the patients need for the recovery. Caring co-creation refers to interactive process grounding from aspects, e.g., collaboration, trust, knowledge, skills, and information between the interprofessional team and the patients. It is essential to carry out research on this process since co-creation of caring and co-creation are the essence and basics of caring in nurses. The data were collected from five participants; these data were sufficient for the conduct of research. Furthermore, the samples were selected by using purposive sampling. In-depth interview was applied to collect the data. The results of the interview were analyzed by using content analysis consisting of steps, i.e., transcribing, meaning unit, and lastly construct a number of themes.
Results: The results reveal five themes, namely caring for fulfilling basic needs, remain calm and collected in providing health services for the patients, empathy towards the patients and their families, get the families involved in preventing pressure ulcer, and ensuring a comforting and calm situation.
Conclusion: Caring serves a purpose as the basics of nursing that differs this profession with other health-related occupations. This term can be regarded as a caring behavior which helps the patients to recover. Lastly, this term is an important element of the newly-found working methods for the nurses.

Further, this process is an approach towards the goal of improving the physical and psychological health of the patients by which it increases the well-being and work satisfaction of the nurses.
