Born in the Pacific Northwest in Colton, Oregon on August 7th, 1943 as Stella Maudine Stephenson, Nickell simply grew up in poverty. At the age of 16, she was pregnant and gave birth to her first child named Cynthia and moved to. From the beginning, she had legal troubles long before ending up in prison. She was first convicted for fraud in 1968, charged the following year for beating Cynthia with a curtain rod, again in 1971 for forgery, served behind bars for 6 months, and ordered for counseling after charged for the abuse of her daughter.
After the convictions were put to rest, in 1974, Stephenson met and was later married to a man named Bruce Nickell within the next two years. During their 12 years of marriage, Bruce ended up developing

a drinking habit, enter rehab to quit. In June of 1986 Bruce returned home with a headache.
Stella gave him Excedrin pills to calm down the headache, he collapsed moments after taking the drug and was transported to a hospital in Seattle. Doctors claimed that it was emphysema, to Stella, it didn’t make any sense since he never had emphysema before.
Two weeks after Bruce’s death, Nickell heard about Sue Snow, who has also died by taking Excedrin pills. Both Snow and her husband, Paul Webking, took two from the same bottle that morning. Snow collapsed on the bathroom floor, unresponsive, and was announced dead on the same day.
When doing an autopsy on Snow’s body, Assistant Medical Examiner Janet Miller detected a scent that was very distinctive to cyanide, bitter almonds. The test verified that Snow died of cyanide poisoning.
Investigators examined any contents of Snow’s home and found a bottle of Excedrin capsules that Snow used on the morning of her death. Out of the 60 capsules that was in the bottle, Snow only took 3 of them.
Nickell came forward to police about Bruce’s death, proclaiming that he took the same number of pills Snow took before her death. After taking a few tests, the FDA found out that Bruce’s remains contained presence of cyanide in his
body. Detectives found evidence of Nickell being the main suspect after discovering that Nickell took out $76,000 of her insurance coverage, with an additional $100,000 if Bruce’s death was accidental. She claimed to doctors that Bruce cause of death was simply natural. In January of the following year, Nickell’s daughter, Cynthia Hamilton, now an adult, came to police with more evidence. Hamilton stated that Nickell wanted to have her husband dead more than once, going on about how Bruce was a bore and prefer to stay home and not go to bars after going sober. Cynthia goes on to say that Nickell tried to poison him with a foxglove before but failed and was told by Nickell about what to do with the insurance money if he was dead. In 1987, Stella Nickell was charged with product tampering, and sentenced to 90 years, with additional three-10 years charge for the deaths of Bruce Nickells and Sue Snow.
On the night that Jessop’s body was found, the first snowfall of the season was challenging police to find any evidence related to the case at the scene. The police conducted their search ...
"So she went to sleep. I didn't know about plastic bags. I wish I had. Because...It seemed to be back firing. And I was fortunate enough at the very last to be able to hit a vein right.... [B]efore I could do that, the one son came into the room.... took his hands and held her veins for me.... I said, 'Oh God, she's startin' to breathe again.' And [the other son] said, 'I'll take a pillow.
Krakauer writes that McCandless was, “consuming fewer calories than he was burning” (188). The other possible sequence of events is that McCandless was poisoned through ingesting potato seeds that contained solanine, “a poison that occurs in plants of the nightshade family, which causes, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, and lethargy in the short term, and adversely affects the heart rate and blood pressure when ingested over an extended period” (190). However, the later course of events is highly unlikely given that McCandless would have needed to consume an incredibly high count of said seeds. According to Krakauer, “…given the light weight of his pack when Gallien dropped him off, it is extremely unlikely that he carried more than a few grams of potato seeds…” (190). Over the years, more explanations have come up, but there is no still conclusive evidence to point how he actually died. McCandless’ body was found in the abandoned bus by Gordon Samel, an employee at an auto-body shop in Anchorage, on September 6, 1992, two and a half weeks after Christopher McCandless passed away. Along with finding McCandless’ body, a couple from Anchorage, Alaska found a “disquieting note” taped to the door of the bus (12). The note read, “S.O.S. I need your help. I am injured, near death, and too weak to hike out of here. I am all alone, this is no joke. In the name of God, please remain to save me. I am out collecting berries close by and shall return this evening. Thank you, Chris McCandless. August?”
Anna Garcia was found lying facedown in the entry to her home at around 9:56 am. The EMT and police were notified by Anna’s neighbor, who called 911 because she wasn’t answering her phone or the door. It was determined that her approximate time of death was 7:00 am. CSI team canvassed the scene and found a syringe, orange liquid (assumed to be orange juice) by her left hand, as well as hair and blood on a fallen table to her left. Several people were persons of interest in this case. They include Anna’s former husband (Alex Garcia), the neighbour that called 911 and was recently involved with her (Doug Greene), her ex-husband’s new wife (Erica Piedmont), and her friend/business partner (Lucy Leffingwell).
When we discovered John’s body the following morning after he had left my house I couldn’t bring myself to believe that he had gotten lost in the blizzard. I know this blizzard was a bad one, we haven’t had one like that for quiet a while, but still John knows this land better than anyone. I really started to think that there was more to his death than a directional mishap. Just the location and direction his body was found in was enough alone to lead it to be suspicious.
Murder was most likely reliably on because someone could have killed her. Most, but not all people thought she died of accidental overdose.
In 1950, she married Tosh Angelos, a Greek sailor. Unfortunately, the marriage would not last and they divorced in 1952. She took a job as a dancer in a nightclub but was fired three months in. On the bright side, she would soon get a job for the Purple Onion. This would make her a star. She even was interviewed by newspaper and radio
He was holding an unbroken liquor bottle in his left hand. he was faced as if he fell backwards as he was going up stairs in the hallway. According to the autopsy, there was a wound on his head, and he had in fact, been inebriated when he was found deceased on the stairs. “Something terrible happened John slipped and fell on the stairs.” Rachel Muir stated, “He was coming down for another drink and I think he’s dead. What shall I do?”

“At 12:42 p.m. the air was perfectly calm for about one minute; the next minute the sky was completely overcast by heavy black clouds which, for a few minutes previous, had hung along the western and northwestern horizon, and the wind veered to the west and blew with such violence as to render the position of the observer on the roof unsafe. The air was immediately filled with snow as fine as sifted flour” (Potter). No one expected the blizzard that would soon come rolling over to create some of the unfortunate deaths. Now, the questions are what exactly happened during the storm, how are snowstorms created, and what damages it caused.
One night ,while working as usual, Jane Doe injects nasal spray butorphanol (Stadol) to a couple women who are in labor. Some of the women did not require the full dosage of the drug so she slipped the leftovers in her pocket. Once her shift had ended that night, Jane was getting ready to leave when she decided to use the restroom. When she was there she remembered that she had some leftover drugs in pocket. Jane cautiously looked around and checked every stall to make sure no one was there. She then took the drugs out and injected herself. Thirty minutes later a colleague finds Jane passed out in the restroom. She is immediately treated and once awake, is taken to a drug-testing facility to provide a urine sample. At the drug-testing facility Jane admitted to stealing the drug and justified herself by saying it helped her cope with the stress of taking on extra shifts, and caring for her two young children and her severely disabled mother. Jane said “I thought I could stop any time but I was wrong.”

The replies from that magical mirror suggest that she, in fact, is still alive. The stepmother consciously decides to try to kill her stepchild herself by taking various deadly approaches. Being so young, Snow White is naïve in welcoming the offers of the disguised stepmother. Her final offer was for Snow White to take a bite out of the apple, which was poisoned. The image of the apple throughout history relates to the biblical Adam and Eve story where Eve was lured by temptation to eat the apple from the Tree but was warned not to. The red apple reflects temptation and luring. Snow White was warned by the dwarfs but did not listen, and, like Eve, she was lured by temptation. Snow White took a bite out of the only part of the apple that was poisoned, the red part. Red is known to reflect sexuality, blood, menstruation, and lust. At this time Snow White “dies” only to be awakened from her coffin at a later time by a man, the Prince. This could depict her adult sexuality and maturity, but one could not firmly say. Granted, the red in the apple represents blood, lust and menstruation ,one could not say that Snow White was fully mature after she awakened. Girls begin their menstruation at young ages and though we can’t depict on how long she was in the coffin for, she still seems to be a
Superman thought, “She can’t die yet. She has all her life to live.” After about an hour, Superman decided to take back the kryptonite to the special superhero store and teach Bizarrogirl how to be a hero and not a villain. Following two years, Bizarrogirl learned to be good and decided to change her name to Superlady and be Supergirl’s sidekick. Everything went back to normal and “the gang” went back to fighting crime.
