Throughout literature, there are many stories that show the strength of this bond by depicting characters who stick together through it all. These bonds are shown in many novels such as, The Tragedy of Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare, Brutus and Cassius get into a heated argument but ultimately reconcile and grow their friendship, and when Mark Antony risks his life by speaking at Caesar's funeral, where he manipulates the crowd's emotions to turn them against Brutus and the conspirators.
