Bravery comes in all shapes, sizes, and types. Bravery is a major theme in King Arthur and His Knights of the Round Table. King Arthur and His Knights of the Round Table was written by Roger Lancelyn Green. Bravery is an important theme in King Arthur's legend, because all the men will go on quests, when Sir Bors chooses faith, and when Launcelot saves Guinevere.

First, have you noticed how all the men go on quests even when they could get hurt or get killed? (‘Sirs,’ said King Arthur, ‘let us enter this strange barque and dare the adventure of it.’ page 66) Arthur, a wise king, sends himself and three people into a mysterious barque, not knowing if it is dangerous or not.

Next, Sir Bors chooses faith in a time of danger. (‘Good father,’ answered Sir Bors, ‘I am a simple Knight of King Arthur's court, and my great desire is to learn how best to seek for the Holy Grail, for in quest of it am I bound.’ ‘Come with me,’ said the hermit, and I will instruct you.
