Shift From Bottled Water To Tap Water For A Healthier You There are several reasons why you should not buy and drink bottled water, and make a shift to tap water, instead. The three major reasons why you should not be buying bottled water are: The production and disposal of bottles employed in bottled water harms the environment significantly in the form of air, land and water pollution, ultimately harming mankind. The water in these bottles hold a risk of absorbing chemicals under the impact of heat, thus, posing a major health risk to consumers. Moreover, it is costly- 2000 times more costly than tap water, to be exact. Despite these strong reasons, people still drink bottled water; that too, in large amounts.
