Anthony and Gunnar, friends for life. They met in second grade, in Ms. Williams class. They played at recess together, walked home together and played on the little football association together up into high school where they played high school football. One summer they even became "blood brothers" by cutting their wrists and pressing their wrists together. Brothers for life. The difference between the two is that Gunnar loved to win. He loved the cheering crowd, loved the slaps and high fives he received from teammates. He was definitely an attention seeker. It was not only when playing sports but it slipped over to video games. Popular, the cool dude, everyone loved him. After while everyone got tired of the bragging, and didn't want to hang with him anymore. It was almost like he was too cool to even hang with Anthony. Soon no one wanted him to be the leader of things. Gunnar couldn't understand he was a winner, he succeeded at beating everyone. No one wanted to challenge him or play games with him. Gunnar started getting really depressed. One day, Jim or Jimmy as we called him, the guy we all teased in grade school because of his hair and mismatched clothes said he would challenge Gunnar to a game. For weeks Gunnar and Jimmy hung out together and played games. Gunnar was happy again. We waited for the day Gunnar would get tired of him and try to move onto someone else.
