1. In psychology, the biopsychosocial perspective explains human behavior in terms of biological, psychological and social factors. Many psychologists use the biopsychosocial perspective to explain behavior, they examine the biological, psychological, and social factors influencing behavior. This perspective suggests that these factors are highly interactive. It is not the only the convergence of factors that matter but also the way they interact. This perspective allows for the fact that the interactions of our body, mind, and our environment all affect each other in different ways. The biopsychosocial perspective integrates sociocultural, biological and evolutionary perspectives in psychology. In a scientific journal article in psychology the title will be at the top of the first page, the author will be listed under the title with the names that contributed to the article. The abstract will be a brief description of the entire article that will help you decide quickly if the article describes research that you are interested in, the abstract will be located under the authors listing. The keywords are listed under the abstract paragraph they identify themes or topics of the article which can be used to search for similar articles. The introduction explains the topic of the study, relevant previous researches and specific goals and hypotheses and will be located under the keywords.
3. A hypothesis is a statement that can be used to test a prediction. It is an idea that is arrived at logically from a theory. An example of a hypothesis is “students who eat breakfast will perform better on exams than students who do not eat breakfast”.
