Big Data in Education and Health Care
Introduction
Big Data has become very popular now-a-days, because of the unlimited data coming from various sources and is difficult to handle by data base management systems. As the information that is gathered from different sources is very large and complex, it has become complex and not easy to process all the information through traditional way of data processing. And here it comes big data into a picture. It’s one of the most popular technologies which have its applications in almost every field. This paper explores the value of real time big data in education, and health care. “Big Data is when your data becomes so large that you have to start innovating how to collect, store, organize, analyze and share it”. (Gobble, MaryAnne M., 2013)
During my school days, my English teacher used to give homework about reading paragraphs and vocabulary building. Then after going home, try to read some stories and work on vocabulary. And then teacher used to conduct a test every week and assess my...

From the Glass Castle, Jeannette’s mother read picture books with Jeannette and her siblings in their early childhood. This activity established good reading habits for Jeannette and her siblings. When she was older, after dinner, her father read the dictionary with the kids, looked up the words they did not know, and discussed the definitions (Walls 56). Because of the reading habits her parents gave her, every time Jeannette did not understand a word, she looked up the word in the dictionary. The routine of reading dictionary after dinner and the habit of looking up an unknown word in the dictionary helped Jeannette build up her vocabulary. With abundant vocabulary and excellent reading skills, Jeannette did not have problem with her college admission test. Studies show that having good reading habits not only increase the volume of children’s vocabulary but also help them perform well on their exams. In the Educational Testing Service (ETS) Policy Information Center 's report, The Family: America 's Smallest School, the author points out the importance of reading to children:

Health informatics is best described as the point where information science, medicine, and healthcare all meet. It encompasses the resources, devices, and methods required to optimize the acquisition, storage, retrieval, and the use of information in health and biomedicine. Health informatics incorporates tools such as: computers (hardware and softwar...

Then, this data must be transformed into meaningful information to support effective policy decisions (Longest, 2010, pp. 29-57). Health policies should bridge the gaps between the current situation and desired outcomes without the financial influence of lobbyists.
Big Data is a term used to refer to extremely large and complex data sets that have grown beyond the ability to manage and analyse them with traditional data processing tools. However, Big Data contains a lot of valuable information which if extracted successfully, it will help a lot for business, scientific research, to predict the upcoming epidemic and even determining traffic conditions in real time. Therefore, these data must be collected, organized, storage, search, sharing in a different way than usual. In this article, invite you and learn about Big Data, methods people use to exploit it and how it helps our life.
...at healthcare services start focusing on preventing disease rather than attempting to cure them.Funding is a chronic issue, and if a financial solution is not unearthed then there is no way that healthcare services will be able to capitalize on the opportunities afforded to us due to advances in both research and technology. With the prospect of Electronic Patient Records looming, healthcare systems worldwide need to ensure that they don’t allow healthcare to become impersonal, whilst simultaneously taking full advantage of these revolutionising technologies. We can finally conclude therefore, that although the opportunites discussed could have unforetold advantages for healthcare services, each comes with a correlating challenge whether it be funding or the will to change. Healthcare services need to face these challenges with fortitude in order to overcome them.
To accomplish vocabulary development, before reading the teacher needs to instruct their students on any prerequisites that they need to understand to interpret the text appropriately. This means the teacher has to pull out the most important words as well as those that may be too difficult for the stud...
For homework, usually we had to write short paragraphs or essays on easy topics, which prepared us for the harder and more challenging literacy tasks in high school. When I got in high school, we started reading books like Hamlet and Crime and Punishment, which are far more complicated to understand than the books I read in the past. Now I am in college, and even though I have written a lot of essays, and I have read a lot of books, I am still improving and learning new things about reading and writing. My teacher is giving me assignments, which will help me become better
As the healthcare is increased day by day, it is very difficult to analysis the big and huge amount of the datasets. The healthcare data consists of the medicines data like drug molecules and structures and clinical trials, environment factors related to the health, lab reports, health insurance, and global disease survey etc. The healthcare big data analysis is the three step process: 1. Preprocessing 2. Cleaning 3.
Good reading skills are very important in learning languages. Reading improves spelling because as students learn to sound out letters and words, spelling comes easier. It helps to expand the vocabulary, since the best way to acquire a large vocabulary is to read. Students learn new words as they read and put them in their mind for later use. . They also unconsciously absorb the information about things like how to structure the sentences, how words are used in different contexts, and it gives a better understanding of the word usage and definitions than the cold facts of a dictionary. It improves a person’s vocabulary and knowledge without the person even knowing it. Even if students do not understand every word, they will hear new sounds, words and phrases which they can then try out, copying what they have heard. They can comprehend ideas, follow arguments and detect implications. Reading texts also provide good models for English writing. Krashen (2004) found that reading is extremely important in learning English, since it is the only way to “become a good reader, develop a good writing style, an adequate vocabulary, advanced grammar” and the only way to “become a good speller”.
