There are many different ways to view this topic, but most of them do not compare with the truth and goodness of a Biblical worldview. Before continuing on with why one may want to have a Biblical worldview when pondering this topic, let’s go over what sanctity means and some of the other views and why they can easily be twisted and wrong.
What does the sanctity of life mean? The word sanctity means the value or worth of something, so the sanctity of life is the value of someone’s life. Why should someone value life? This is once more based on someone’s worldview, but knowing this let’s now go over the different ways to view this topic. Two of the more popular views are, Materialism and Evolutionism these are both worldviews that when dealing with the topic of valuing life one would not want to have, why is this? Relying and trusting these worldviews provide a false viewing of people not having a soul, beliefs, desires, and overall worth. If this view is what someone falls back on then they will see everything with less value. When one sees others with less value they tend not to cherish them or their unique qualities. Most people with these worldviews may not be trying to support these ideas or wearing them around bragging, but they may want to examine themselves and take in account what they believe in and what it stands for. There are many other views Pantheism, Deism, etc. that all have different

The answers are all conveniently in one book, the Bible! In Geniuses 1 people can learn and read about the creation of the entire world, and when you dig deeper you can find in Geniuses 1:26; “And God said let us make man in our image and after our likeness…” What does this mean? This means that when God created the world He created man too, and when God created man He made us in His own image! God didn’t have to do that He could have made us entirely different creatures, but no He specifically made us in His image, and added that detail into His Word for a
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth (Genesis1:1.) God’s perfect wisdom created everything. In Genesis 1 and 2 we can see that God has loving and gentile nature when He created the earth and heavens. God created man in his image and we are the only creation that God breathed in the breath of life for human beings (Genesis 2:7). God did not do this for any of other creations but only for humans. The Bible has many scriptures that tell us how creative God is. Genesis 1;26 states “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” God created all of this for us to have fellowship with him.
What truly defines the value of someone's life is looking at the basic necessity of every human life, the heart.
Similarly, the Bible says, “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them”(Genesis 1:27).
Christian's Beliefs in the Sanctity of Life Christians believe in the sanctity of life. This means that God

The value of life is a very controversial topic. It has been brought up many times throughout history in interviews, poem, stories, and even class. Many people have different opinions on what the value of life is and what it is worth. Unfortunately there is no denotative definition. It is connotative, which can only be defined through personal experiences and beliefs. Many highly intelligent people have different views on the value of life and express it in whatever way they can.
The biggest difference between us and all other creation is we are made in God’s image. Genesis 1:26
Roman Catholicism’s views regarding life, and by extension death and dying, differ and oftentimes clash with secular views around death and dying. The sanctity of human life is a major tenet in Roman Catholicism where life is the most precious gift from God and the most fundamental of all goods. As God’s creation, man
As the tile implies, the book Five Views on Sanctification aims to discuss the different views that Protestants have in regards to an important doctrine of the church - Sanctification. Generally, Protestants recognize the need to draw closer to God and to live a sanctified and holy life. However, the different Protestant groups differ on how to draw closer to God. Some of these differing views are: How sanctification occurs? Is sanctification instantaneous or progressive? Is there a need for a second blessing? What is God’s role and man’s responsibility in sanctification? Is there a cure for spiritual failure?
The value of a human life varies, depending on the person. Even though as humans, we assign a lot of value to many things, human life should remain the most valuable thing we have. The true value of a human life should not be combined with the monetary value that is determined by the government, or the value of life would be worth very little.
This revelation simultaneously defines and commissions mankind. By God creating mankind in his own image implies a responsibility to represent God as he is. Wayne Grudem writes, “The Hebrew words for ‘image’ and ‘likeness’ simply informed the original readers that man was like God, and would in many ways represent God…When scripture reports that God said, ‘Let us make man in our image, after our likeness’ (Gen. 1:26), it simply would have meant to the original readers, ‘Let us make man to be like us and to represent us.” Adam, acting as every-man, is commission to be a representative priest ; likewise every man is now accountable for how he or she accomplishes this task. Genesis continues to reveal what exactly this responsibility entails. Mankind represents the

...s to value with grand sacrifices. Life is a precious aspect that should be treasured every day. I completely disagree with those closed minded people that have the thought of suicide consume their minds. People ignore the fact that life does a purpose and that is why we are currently living. Having the honor to live reflects the desire to make a difference in our world. Many folks appreciate the gift that God has prepared for us, life. As humans we have ability to look within, break the borders that hold us behind and amplify our hearts and minds with the world. We consistently establish goals that later become reality, we desire to have a positive outcome for the sacrifices we make and have the obligation to strive for what we wish for and defeat any inconveniences placed in our path. We have a mission to overcome as we borrow a space on the planet. So why not live?
