Just Living It America provides many opportunities for a person to achieve their American Dream and at times it may seem as if the your dream itself is unachieveable. In order to achieve your American Dream you would have to be willing to take certain risk that may not be in your benefit. Especially with the unemployment rate increasing and decreasing every year it is hard to even imagine a future to be bright. Having an education is beneficial but if you can’t find a workplace than you feel hopeless. America still provides access to the American Dream by providing jobs for the jobless or some type of income ranging from the government to McDonald’s. The jobs crisis has reached a boiling point, which is why we see Occupy Wall Street protesters crying out for an America that lets all of us reach for the American Dream again - a dream that says if you work hard and play by the rules, you can have a good life and retire with dignity.(John Garamendi) It is hard to get a job but the effort you put in will bring out a result it may not be the best but it's something. Around the community, in the paper, or on the technology that is used excessively provides jobs for you to seek. There are community facilities that have people to assist you in getting a job. This dream can be argued back and forth because in some type of way America provides a chance for some type of income. It's known that college it will not be easy and things will not be handed to you. In reality, your education will determine how far you allow your american dream to take you. Everyones dream is different and furthering their education may not be in their cards. I will say that having a long term of schooling does not necessarily terminate you from being great, but it would help tremendously. America still provides access to the American Dream through education because for the most part, you have student loans and scholarships. “There are more than 14,000 school districts in the country, and more than $500 billion is spent each year on public primary and secondary education”. Although education is required from K-12th it still gives you the opportunity to achieve your dreams. 9th-12 is the first step to your american dream act scores and gpa determine what type of schooling you receive. Although, after high school many students decide to be done because, they don't have the funds or they feel that it will be too challenging. In America there are ways around that, talking scholarships you can receive full ride ways into college just by the simplest things such as good grades,sports, etc. The army is another way to get around that some join the army which pays for your college.
