Being Thankful

The quote, “There is always, always, always, sorting to be thankful for,” can mean many things. I believe this quote means that no matter what your circumstances there is always something we can be gracious for. My life is pretty good. There are many families that have it worse than I do. I am thankful that I have a roof over my head and food on the table. In the world right now, I am thankful that I live in a free country and that my faith allows me to make that choices I want. I'm thankful that my country allows me to have to religion of my choice. Right now, certain religions are making the choices to destroy other cities. I am thankful I do not live in the cities they are targeting. America is known for being free. I am thankful I live in a country that allows me to make decisions for myself.

Most of my friends are from St. George. Emma is probably my closest friend. She is always there when I need help or a ride. I can always count on her to outscore me on most tests. She pushes me to be the best I can be. I think we have a special bond; we’ve known each other since kindergarten. I couldn't ask for a better friend. Allison is another one of my friends. She is like freaky talented at any sport possible. She manages to keep A’s in most her classes and always feels unprepared for tests. My list goes on and on. My friends are a great support system I have. I know that whatever happens they have my back.
I sound crazy when I say this, but I am thankful for school. I love school. Not all people in the world get to get up early every day and go to a safe place to learn. I love to learn; I love the rush you get before taking a huge tests. Homework isn't even that bad. It stinks having to get up early and finish assignments but it's bettering my future and not all girls my age have the opportunity to earn an education. I am thankful for my ability to receive an
