Being a socially responsible member of an American Society means that a person has a particular set of skills in their life that they use to better themselves and the current situations in their life surrounding them. This means that having certain attributes that benefit society makes them a socially responsible member. Basic traits, such as a caring attitude, sense of control, acceptance of self and others, etc. shows off the person’s sense of respect and dignity towards themselves and to others. Being socially responsible doesn’t just mean being respectful to others. Which is why through the use of the educatory school system in the United States and through obeying laws of their city/state or nation, and also through the practice of Volunteer work/charity the average American citizen can become above-average and awesome (in every sense of the word) and can also develop into a righteous, upstanding, convivial citizen.
