Bandura’s studies involved observational learning or modeling including four steps the first one being attention. This type of learning is from paying attention to other individuals to learn from what they are demonstrating. The second step is Retention which is observing different behaviors he or she needs to remember. Images and language help with retaining information having mental images to look back on is a great way of learning. Reproduction is “a persons ability to to reproduce a behavior improves with practice.”(4) The last step is motivation “ to imitate a behavior, the person must have a motivating factor behind it, such as incentives that a person envisions.
